Spended some Christmas money today. Got some skinks... And thanks to @Crowsfoot had to buy this guy and started adding gems and fitted the rider on his back...
    Sight_2015_12_29_001222_900.jpg
Also tried to start making a skink priest with cloak of feathers...

Did some bashing and green stuffing tonight.
Changed the position of my feather cloak priest:
    Sight_2015_12_30_012944_908.jpg Sight_2015_12_30_012931_091.jpg
And made a staff and other stuff for another converted priest:
    Sight_2015_12_30_013018_275.jpg Sight_2015_12_30_013013_135.jpg
And a group shot with the original:

Comments critics and tips or good advice are as always very much appreciated... ;)

So before the party starts I attached the rider to his mount and added a head dress for the dinosaur... And I made some square shields for my spear skinks... Thought it would look good if some of them ran around like roman soldiers... Had some problems with the size but I think with the green one I got it right.

Got a problem... I want to paint my skink in four different types of color schemes but I can't decide what the fourth shall be like.
I already have blue skinks with purple scales and crest, green skinks and light brown skinks. They are meant to match as units of on color unlike the saurus warriors...

Any suggestions? Was thinking about a red ton...

Oh! Forgot to ask how you like the weapon of my riders... Might be a little bit to long. What do you think?

Instead of painting my skinks this evening as planned I tried to rank them up as units... As a result basing seems to become quite part of my army building process... Have a look!
Here I used cork to make the bases...
    Sight_2016_01_03_013840_992.jpg
And here some stuff from the garden.

Quite proud of this solution! ;)

Some feathers... Quite difficult at such small scale...
    Sight_2016_01_05_003525_124.jpg
    Bigger is easier
    Sight_2016_01_05_002532_094.jpg
Also the priest got some feathers. Still looking a pit crapy but ok for a first attempt...

Amazing work on the feathers, it will look much greater when the paint is put on, it somehow always makes a difference.

    Thanks people!
@Crowsfoot : Therefore your painting is so much another level compared to mine... ;)

@little-myth : Hope that works. Otherwise I sent that priest to crowsfoot for a good paintjob! ;) :p

Another feather... Will try to make the backside tomorrow. Hope it works, like I think it does. ;)
    Sight_2016_01_08_003329_339.jpg
When it does, I'll add it to my carni's headdress...
    Sight_2016_01_08_003347_162.jpg
And here the whole dinosaur. Added a blade at the tail and an extra blade to one of the toes...
    Sight_2016_01_08_003407_329.jpg
More to come, when I'm acclimated to normal working days after the holidays again... ;)

Did some calculation... When I follow my plans to have four colors of skinks and that for each kind of weapons with a unit size of 15... I'm going to have 8 units of 15... That means 120 skinks to paint and 90 or so to buy... Am I crazy?!

Well... Making things out of green stuff is a slow process... Sometimes it feels like even trees grow faster than I get things done...
But there's some visible progress on my dinosaur...;)

What do you think? Is a skink sized feather too much? Don't want him to look like a circus elephant... ;)

That's what happens when you read @spawning of Bob 's stories from beginning to the (so far) end... Nearly on week without post... ;)

But there are things I have done...
