Lets see if anyone is gonna recognize this with all the ghb2 stuff going on at the moment...;)
WorkeWorked on my one and only scar model... used it yesterday to teach my 9years old nephew how wargaming works... he against one oldblood... had quite some fun, so I decided to give him some honor and continue the paint job on him (also had all the colors already on the wet pallet cause of the Amazon witch I continued the day before... and I already hear @NIGHTBRINGER 'a heart breaking, when I write this: ) I'm thinking about buying some more of them to have a spare force to play with guests occasionally...
(I also wonder if he'll even look at the pictures after reading this...:sorry:)
    20170820_221545.jpg 20170820_221601.jpg 20170820_221620.jpg 20170820_221610.jpg 20170820_221628.jpg
I think I'll have to get back to the left knee and his behind... (well... that sounds... forget it...) I think the rest of the green armor looks good so far... so next would be the red parts and the green skirt/loincloth followed by the belt (which color? Maybe some dirty white or bone color to make it look like parchment or cotton with magic verses written on?) ... and the metal parts as a last step...
Now let's see what these 4 alerts are about, I received during I was writing this... on is in the ghb2 thread, that's sure... but what about the others? ...

    2. You are correct... my heart did break a little :(
    3. I look forward to seeing more of your work... even if it is Stormcast related

Perhaps my focus has waned. I shall redouble my anti-AoS rhetoric!

    More like....

It looks nice. Also, you have used more greenstuff on that one conversion than I have right now.

Looks fine, maybe a bit longer though? It makes me think of more kilt length than loincloth. The priest from the stegadon kit's loincloth is almost to his feet I think.

Then again I can't say why the lizardmen use loincloths, but that's besides the point...

Probably to make warmbloods wonder why they do it. Or to prevent followers of Slaanesh from getting any ideas.

Seems like red is the color of my dwarven pack...
    20170905_232601.jpg
Though this guy (dwarf wizard? Is that possible?!o_O:p) wears a blue cloak...
    20170905_232644.jpg 20170905_232615.jpg 20170905_232625.jpg 20170905_232635.jpg
And I have a question about gaming... or tournament... is it possible to build add some of the dwarves form the 'the hobbit' range and use them in a tournament/ official game in an AOS army? I mean they are GW minis... so could that work?

I honestly don´t think so. Apart from only allowing GW models, in tournaments also usually applies the WYSIWYG rule (What You See Is What You Get), which mainly refers to weapons and equipment, but I´m sure it also applies to proxies. But ask the tournament organizers anyways, I might be wrong

Well... managed to visit the shop before I had to go to my late shift... was looking for dwarfs... didn't find any...
    Bought some stuff anyway...
A red and a blue wash from Vallejo and new brushes...
    And these guys
    20170910_011512.jpg
(See bottom left corner) 11,50€ for three... makes four in total... guess when I get a single hero it's possible to start a skirmish crew with them... suggestions welcome!
    Already primed and started painting...
    20170910_011258.jpg
Also used the red wash to finish this cloak (once again...) on my rune lord...
    20170910_011324.jpg
Don't know why I always start with the cloak... guess it's because it's the biggest part on the backside of the miniature...o_O

And ballerinas...o_O)

    Some progress on Franziska's skin...
First highlights using the base color (rakarth flesh) 20170912_001254.jpg
Followed by several layers of rakarth flesh mixed with kislev flesh... pure kislev flesh... And kislev flesh mixed with flayed ones flesh... finally washed with seraphim sepia...

Looks good but might have been better if you would have glazed with Seraphim sepia and then applied a recess shade.
