Mwha, plenty of lists where the magic users do the heavy lifting. Sure You'l rarely see say Kroak without some salamander or buffed skink friends. But being sure that Kroak won't really be able to touch Kragnos does simplify your strategy a lot as it makes it very obvious what you should focus down first (namely those salamanders). After all Kragnos simply goes from having to deal with 3 threats to say having to deal with 2. It's not enough to dominate a tournament. But more than enough to be a potentially very frustrating experience for an opponent that made magic focused lists. Yeah, I doubt he'l be popular in tournaments (unless he's stupidly cheap). So in that sense he's "fine" O sure, but that's extremely lame. Which is kind of my point. Either you immeadiatly shoot him of the table (which is lame for the Kragnos player), get him stuck in screens (which again is lame for the Kragnos player) or he murders everything he touches effortlessly (which again is lame, though this time for his opponent). Problems, no probably not. But I can imagine certain opponents will end up simply finding him annoying annoying to deal with. Especially if you play an army that doesn't have much in the way of cannonfodder or shooting.

Bloodthirsters are hilarious. One of the swingiest units in the game. They'll either table you on the double-turn pretty much single-handedly, or miss everything and get shot off the table immediately afterwards.

looks like he lost his ward, got worse at generating CP, got nothing new in the casting department, has a truly terrible summoning ability, and is now to fat to sit on a bale wind. in exchange he got 3 more hit points +1 save and 2 command abilities that we don't know what they do yet but might be awesome. but over all a biiig debuff for kroaks new model there goes GW phoning it in again.

Well, my heart fell in pieces when I saw the Summoning ability and the CP generation and automatically said Kroak went from 100 to 0. I don't have a big expectation but still...
I want a 10" move 10 wound kroak, blazing into battle followed by a massive army of status guard. I like the idea of him being too fat for a balewind and not castles up all the time.

Slann and Kroak actually have that Command Ability. Most of the time people ignore it, but I've used it before.
