AoS NEW *rumor*

Maybe the new terrain gives us the chance to deploy within 9 inches of it...

I wouldn't like if it buffed in area (which probably what it is going to do) because I love the movility of the army...

Maybe it acts as a link between casters or extends the range of spells.

Uhmm, maybe the "new" astrolith and chance astrolith for only one function?
If we save the current astrolith and win more Range of spell, sound very good xD, i hope this Sunday release the pre-order

I doubt that it will be this Sunday, we still need a faction focus and that hasn't been uploaded yet. Plus they need to get the open day releases out of the way.
Mid to end of February seems most plausible/realistic.

I'd guess more stuff about the animated series. TW just got another DLC a few weeks ago, not sure if the game as a whole is old enough to warrant a third part.

If I recall, there has already been a tease somewhere about TW:W3. Maybe it was CA that did it directly.

But yes, it's likely for the animated series and anthologies, etc.

Adepticon is going to be fun. I might try to go this year, just to browse the halls and such.

I agree, that it can be difficult to manage frustrations given how long we've waited. That being said, realistically, none of us actually have any idea what the new rules are going to look like, so we oughtn't make a decision on how we feel about the new battletome emotionally before we actually not only read the rules, but try them out for ourselves to see if we like them. Anything beyond that runs the risk of an uninformed decision on how we think we should feel emotionally, and that can be unhealthy <: j

If the battletome sucks, if it's amazing, or if it's middle of the road, we'll find out in time. It's fun to speculate, it's fun to hope, and it's reasonable to temper one's expectations with skepticism. But we shouldn't let how we feel now distort our perspective when we actually get the rules for ourselves; otherwise, if you've already made the decision to be disappointed, anything will disappoint you.

I don't mean to come down on anyone. I just want us all to have clarity and perspective as we approach the next new piece of a hobby that we love and recognize its flaws and merits for what they are <3

These are wise words for life. Not just this hobby. Well said.

Think it could be announced this Sunday as that will put release as 15th of Feb (at least that's what I'm hoping) most of the open day stuff is getting done before, wrath book and the underworlds stuff this week (including nurgle warband which was shown at lvo). It makes little sense to make us wait. I was really surprised we weren't this week

Here is my take on adepticon. It will be dropping the new "Sons of Behemat" Destruction Giant Army Stuff aka "BIGGEST" adepticon ever. As well as the 2 rumor engines, the shipping leak for cards etc. I am also hoping to see more stuff in general for basically all the above. Last unit for Warcry and 1 or 2 unit box for Underworlds to finish off beastgrave season. As for AoS, getting giants will be the big announcmeent but i also sorta expect some finishing up of existing armies with one or two new units for recent releases. The "BIG" question is it more than just Giants. Are we getting Chaos Dwarves, Vampires or Dark Aelves/Wood Aelves(Kurnothi).

I've talked with a couple friends of mine who also play 40k, and they say that the giant army will essentially be Sigmars knight army.

Honestly won't be as big an issue for AoS as it originally was for 40k. So it'll be cool and fine.

I hope they just go straight Biggins, no small fry or screens.
