AoS NEW *rumor*

To be honest, that could have just been someones home brew warscrolls. It seems unlikely that such a universally hated model, would get such massive stat boosts without new sculpts.

I mean, with those stat boosts, they would be some of the best cav in the game, if they were pointed sensibly. Why would GW want to put those models on the table everywhere?
 
Nobody knows what's going on at old Gedubs, but maybe they want us to get good use out of our derpy Cold Ones? I mean everyone owns at least one SC Box, or is buying one when they start a Seraphon force.
So with new rules they might be ugly but useful!

From my understanding, getting a model from conception phase to development to testing to production to the painter is a looong process that takes years, when you account for everything else GW is doing at the same time. If you told me they have to account for over 1000 models I wouldn't be suprised. They know new Saurus Knights would make money, but they also know Sisters if Battle will make more money.

There is a reason why only Slaves To Darkness got a full update (well deserved imo). We'll get new sculpts eventually, but we'll likely see Fantasy come back first. Heck, Skaven still have metal models lol.

Although I could be completely wrong.

You played on people's desire to be deceived. I say ruse because you didn't give up the link. And I don't think AoS stuff is translated into russian.

It was a nice lie, and sometimes it can be good fun to live in a lie, even if it only lasts a few moments.

I know everybody wants to see the new tome first. I also understand its funny to build up people's hope's at this critical time of high tension.

But those Cold one knights were too good to be true. 3 wounds + rend + 5+ mortal wounds + hit on 3 with 3 attacks.

More like they are going to be move 4 inchs, hit on 5+ wound on 5+, save on 6+ 1 wound mortal wounds triggered on a Yahzeee!
 
Did I say at any point that this 100% official? I suggested it looked somewhat official and that there was the possibility that these could have been the warscroll cards, or possibly some pirated and copies.

as for stats, I wouldn’t be surprised, as they do appear good, but GW has released some crazy stuff like Kavalos Deathriders and Gore Gruntas, so would the stat line really be that absurd?

@samheim they also clearly translate AoS into Russian. They're a multinational company with holdings in several countries.

Also of note, Knights sculpts of not universally hates. They used to have decent rules back in WHFB as a cav unit. Their rules take a huge hit with the transition and subsequent dessertion of our faction for nearly 4 years.
The rules will change, and I'm still very optimistic that a new kit will be relesed/new SC will include them. For a number of reasons, one of them being the old kit comes with 8 models for the price they usually charge for 5. They cannot just rebox them either, as the sprues have 4 knights apeice, and the Cold Ones are seperate special individual sprues.

@Lizerd is also one of the theory crafters working with @Erta Wanderer to make a Fantome while we waited for our official one. I doubt he would bait-switch-feign on us just to get attention.

yup and if lizard was making stuf up he could have just used the carnasuar i wrote it's better. im not sure if the leak is real a lot of people like me are writing their own but i dont think the dishonesty is from lizard

There's no clearly about it. I posted the link to the Russian Hobby store. They had 40k books translated into Russian, but the AoS books were all in English.

Maybe they don't sell enough AoS there yet, to make it worth while translating. I don't know.

It's no big deal. It just sounded dubious, that someone would see that nice stat line, then oh I can't post the website because its naughty, and oh now its gone.

It's no big deal, who cares.

Its frustrating that so many people make their judgements on weather they think someone is a nice man or not, compared to just looking at the situation and making logical conclusions.

hello pot im sorry your feeling hard done by. but for the most part lizard has a long history of good behavior, meaning that in times of doubt we tend to give him the benefit of said doubt. it's not that we just think he is a good guy but that his history speaks for it's self

Now I think more about it, its obvious that @Lizerd was trying to get a boost on everyone by giving them bogus stats, so everyone ran out and bought cold one knights. That way they would have all these shitty cold one knights they would have to paint.

wow that is incredibly mean spirited you can't just drop something like that and expect it to go unopposed . your ascribing a bizarre motive to a 15 year old that has repeatedly showen his love of the models in question. so no as long as you keep spouting slander i will oppose you on this subject
 
@samheim That post was just so bizarre XD I havent been around long enough to know peoples history, but either way theres no point in dunkin on someone who posts something. The battletome will be out soon and we will know then. If Lizerd did have a glimpse of something, great, if not who cares. And there is nothing more obnoxious than saying you are going to have the last word on a conversation and then say something provocative......now let that be the last word on this ;)

I make an obvious joke. Of course I don't think (or really care) if at lizard was trying to get us to buy more cold one knights in a long term plan to demoralise everybody.

I already said it was not a big deal. To be fair I don't think @Lizerd thought it was a big deal either. The people who made it a big deal were all the moral crusaders who jumped in, the thread.
