The ice blue colors on the carno looks great!

Not at all, I used Temple guard blue as a base then added 20/80 white scar and did layer 1, then 40/60 for layer 2 and finally white scar for the final highlight, the idea was to just leave the blue at the edges so he is almost white.

I'm bebating wether to add a blue glaze, once the rider is finished and the base I should be able to make that decision.
 
Absolutely fabulous! I guess you did glaze it over with blue? I really like the cool blue hues (I also like saying that) of him, and the base is just amazing. The felled Cold One really gives the top predator vibe to the Carno. Only minor complaint that I have is the Skinks head dress. The gold looks pretty flat, it could use a wash and maybe some edge higlights. Or is it just the photo? Nevertheless, great work!

I didn't glaze him in the end I painted the ridge of his back black instead, your right about the head dress I wanted to leave it bland to try and draw your eye to carny but I might edge highlight now and maybe do a bit more detail on it since you have pointed that out.

Awesomesauce!!! That is beautiful work. The skink, the carno and the base are all absolutely superb. I love the slain cold one at the foot of the carno.

How are you were you able to create such fine work so quickly?

I painted when I was 14 up until I was 21 some 24 years ago, I got quite competent at it, I even entered the Golden demons one year and my enttry won best in store at GW Liverpool branch.

I stopped after that due to them forgetting to enter my minis into the final, they left them behind at the store!!
