Blog Return of the Ancient Painter: Troggoths added

The Stego lools really good. Especially the legs look nice, great definition there. The best part in practising edge highlighting is how you start to see where the lines should go and how they actually go where you want! Keep up the good work!

That is what I found last night after an hour you start to see lines that were not apparent, I think it's a tad to thick but practice makes perfect.

So tried batch painting on some warriors, magnetic bases and 4 models onto a strip of mild steel so I can handle them easily, only ever tried painting 2 models at once.

Spray primed and washed, painting time 2hrs so far.

Ah the joys of core choices, there are always more to do. I found the usefulness of batch painting on my Saurus with my airbrush. Sadly, my compressor broke so I'm out of commission on that end until I get a new one. At least that is my excuse for doing big dinos instead of blocks of troops........ Everything is looking great, keep it up!

That's an intimidating number of models! Good luck... looking forward to seeing your progress!

Lol, that's a lot of Saurus Warriors to paint, my friend! I'm amazed by how similar our armies are! I have to do the same thing!

I'll take lots of inspiration from watching your progress!

P.S. - I love your paint bottle holders! I need some exactly like that! Where'd you get those?

So 5 hrs in now, all dry brushed and their bellys painted off white, then I have glazed them 8 at a time swapping glazes to add variety.

These are not going to be brilliant but table worth, as always let me know your thoughts.

Super work so far mate. they will turn out looking great at the end. The early stages for me always seem messy but ash each step progressed everything tidies up and you get a good model at the end :D

oh my Im rather jealous now ahah I'm on the list for the Kroxigors! Really looking forward to getting my set and adding them to my army! I've already decided on my scheme haha
