Blog Return of the Ancient Painter: Troggoths added

Well, it's not the airbrush that's so expensive, it's the air compressor! You want a good one because it just won't get the job done otherwise! You're looking at around $300 for a proper set up! That's hard for me to justify when I have quads that are consuming nearly 5-6 canisters of formula every week at ~$100 each week. Babies are expensive!

It only gets worse, Archie is 9 next week taking him to warhammer world in Nottingham, stopping over night and probably buying some orcs and gobbo's and then for christmas he wants a bearded dragon, and I have already got him a Hyper 7 nitro RC car!

Haha! Sounds like he is off on the right track to inherit his father's toy obsession! :p I'm totally doing that with my kids too! I've been stockpiling all of my childhood toys and some that I just thought looked cool for 20+ years in my attic! What can I say...I'm a planner.

Wow, nice work! I like your new picture set up! Are those two different Korogoraths? Looks and sounds like you're setting up quite the brutal force!

Same ones just better pics, yeah I was messing with the camera app last night got a backdrop coming and just need to sort the lights out correctly.

Still got 40 Bloodreavers, 25 Blood warriors and 10 wrathmongers to paint.

The fiery look to the weapons looks incredible! This is a great looking model, and with so much detail in the paint job I am blown away! Really admire your attention to detail!

The ooze dripping from his hand looks great! Is that part of the model or did you add that effect? The base is crazy awesome too! As always I am amazed by your painting ability!

The ooze is UHU glue, let it dry then washed with colours, you can mix a red lacquer in to make blood effects, Tamiya clear red.
