Dude I like the dinos you used for your riders I'm going to buy a set so I can have them for primal riders thanks....and you should really transfer all your paints to a drop bottle I did it and now I'm far more organised...View attachment 27917Took a long time but we'll worth it...oonce I get around to buying all the rest of the stuff I need for my air brush I'll try my hand at it

I've done 3 bottles so far :D

Test Aelf model, only base coated atm the red will go orange and the grey cloth more white, gold less bright and brown lighter.

The idea behind the orange is I love tigers and my griffin will be tigered up, I have 2 atm so got to convert one so it is different, Prince Imriks dragon will be orange also but striped somehow not sure yet.

Test model finished, quite happy with it.

What do you think?

A very nicely painted model. Your work is consistently amazing! Now that usage of the word "Aelf" on the other hand....

Adding insult to injury!

Round bases actually look fine, but Aelf sounds simply like a mentally challenged Elf. My wife plays Wood Elves and I always bug her with that term... she hates it, LOL. :D

Yeah I agree Aelf is a bit lame, I had loads of wood elves back in the eighties Elves were my second favourite army to paint, I can't wait to start my skinks!

Wow!

You're absolutely right about basing, it brought everything about the mini to a whole new level! What kind of "foliage" are you using? It's beautiful.

You did a superb job both with the airbrush and the regular brush. The gradients on both the shield and helmet are quite natural and pleasing to the eye, not to mention the highlights on the scalemail. Great job!
