Hey guys, I don't know about you but I'm bored to death of FoS and looking at our battalions and being disappointed. Because of this I've tried to come up with an unorthodox list, but it 'should' work, all improvement and criticism is more than welcome :D

    Coalesced - Koatl's Claw

    *Leaders* x5

    Scar-Vet on Carno
    -General
    -Dominant Predator
    -Eviscerating Blade
    -Celestite Warspear
    Terradon Chief
    -Cloak of feathers
    Skink starseer
    -Hand of Glory
    Skink priest
    -Sacred stegadon helm
    Skink priest

    *Battleline*

    Saurus Knights [10] x3
    -Celestite Lance
    -Alpha
    -Banner
    -Drums

    *Other*

    Chameleon skinks [5] x2
    Terradon riders [9]
    -Sunleech Bolas
    -Alpha

    *Battalions & Endless spells*

    Shadowstrike Temple-host
    Firelance Temple-host
    Bound Geminids
    1990/2000

The general premise is to alpha strike the heck out of whatever needs to die with the terradons ( could get them on 2+ to hit) and dropping cargo. and using the Firelance as the other wing to grab objectives and smash things on the charge. What do you think?

I could be mistaken, but I thought the flying chiefs were in a weird spot where they didn't eat up Leader spots and couldn't have artifacts because of that? or did I smoke a good one this morning?

I don’t think that’s the case, as far as I know. They have the HERO keyword and there’s nothing in the errata.

Terradon and Ripperdactyl Chiefs use a hero slot and have the hero keyword. They can be given both Artefacts and Command Traits if desired.

Great list! I love the Terradon Alphastike. I will have to consider that kit with Thunderlizards as well.

the shadow strike temple host isn't a bad battalion, it just relies on keeping a 5 wound hero alive.
you can have 40 skinks hitting with +1 to hit and the same with chameleons or terradons/ripperdactyls

How is this list using Master of Star Rituals instead of the required "Old and Grizzled" command trait that FoS says you MUST take instead? Is there something im missing? (I was missing the "Saurus" part of the rule aka reading is hard XD)

lmao guys first post and he's arguing with himself.

jokes aside good self catch, often times a second read through will answer questions about the many of less obvious rules as we perceive them

lol 100%. Yea not afraid to call out my self for being wrong :D

Something I did notice though on that build, has someone stat crunched Skink Starprist vs Kroak being the general? My guess Kroak being the general would be better so you get the summoning points at the avg of (4) per turn since we also run SAB in that list.

Summoning points are priceless IMO. I always use a slann general in my starborne lists for exactly that reason.
