Theses guys are awesome! You're going to have an impressive army when you get these all together.
 
Yeah these are going to be a unique band of prehestorics predating the coming of the Old Ones because they are dinosaur based and Todd rex doesn't look too smart which is fine :D
 
Todd Rex and the Raptors sounds like a band. Just saying, there are some conversion opportunities!
 
Haha yeah its from Dinosaurs go home game the t-rex is called tod rex and runs with his tongue out just like my model :D

I like Todd Rex and the raptors... Makes a cool name for unit of cold ones and their scar vet leader!;)
 
My Master of Words turned up just now :) - I think he's a great size for a Kroxigor proxy he stands about just under double a skinks height and his weapon up in the air makes him seem more a dominant leader I haven't glued his head or tail because he just arrived and it may need some work filling it in to look forward more but overall I'm extremely please with the size and character of the model perfect for a individual story :D

He is still small for a Kroxigor, it would make a good Oldblood or Scarvet, or a sacred spawned Saurus. Or I suppose a sacred spawned smallish kroxigor! Fantastic model by the way.
 
Maybe its because I haven't got another kroxigor for comparison :) - but yeah hes slightly larger than a sarus - but an intelligent Kroxigor will be smaller in my mind :) and hes a crododile based model so I cant really make him anything but a kroxigor but that's why I got it - hes actulley a really nicely built model either for spellcasting or holding a scroll of battle orders - but since the Slann use telepathy I doubt they'd bother using papers - maybe orders from a skink priest - or dr who psychic paper :P I love him anyways he stands out :)
 
As previously mentioned my Slann army is growing in size +1 more Starmaster and 1 more Kroak:

the alive skink is removable :p the palanquin is set up a a broken kroaks one :)

Also taking this opportunity to let you know as my Slann count is at 11 I can coin the phrase "A Slann for all seasons" as I can make 4 Slann generals and following army to represent a season each :D brainchild of @Bowser

Edit: The two skink attendant setup is nice for a good/evil shoulder idea :D
 
Strangely, I have seen anyone do this conversion before... :confused:
 
The palanquin came with the sides from 2 palanquins so I just slotted it in for the picture :P but it looks good to have more than one attendant I always thought it odd they only got one on the model

I like that idea. Make sure you paint them accordingly; to really emphasize the point. The mummified skink takes care of itself as the evil side, so I'd recommend using colours that would emphasize the positivity/goodness of the other.
 
Got myself two eternity wardens decided to put one in a conventional pose and the other in a overhead swing pose - it was tricky to make it work and needs some filling under the arms but I liked the result :D.

Oh also I didn't want them looking like yoshimitsu so I'm not adding the little flag bits at the back :P
 
Nice pose. And nice ninja weapon on your desk! ;) had some of those in black...
 
:P its a coat hanger from my fiancé I have yet to screw it into a wall :P - I mean yes its my awesome throwing star from my side job as a ninja :)
