I was lucky that I got nice one. There was no filling apart from generous amount of superglue andmaybe one annoying bubble.
I assembled 30 poxwalkers today. I really do not enjoy the idea of painting them But since I am still waiting for basing paste, that is in far future (but hopefuly not that far as that paste is in same order as my seraphon army set). I also glued wheels to puma and it is now waiting just for final varnish. And! Started working on kroxies! This unit will have different paint scheme than last one, but I forgot to take pictures, sorry.
I don't envy your future arthritis (I don't envy my future arthritis either on that note). What colour scheme are you rocking for your nurgle demons?
Good luck with the pox walkers! Maybe some speedpaints or something? With a white prime and a single speedpaint addition they would probably be 90% done
Not sure yet, I will probably do couple similar yet different sickly colours so they differ a bit. I will need that, thanks I am speedpainting everything here, so it would be my personaly heresy to go back to classic painting (even though my 180 non contrast, non speedpaint paints are screaming at me from dusty pot holders). But I will make it simpler for myself at least by priming them with spray instead of brushing. I have another 30 ordered, so every bit counts. Also, I took that WIP picture of kroxies
Second unit of Kroxies is done. I tried mixing some faded blue onto ruins in ground (to keep it similar to first unit) and managed to mix this awesome greyish blue that I'll definitely use in future on some models.
Yup guys, beastman and from big box o' skulls. I bought one couple of years ago and I still have plenty left to put onto bigger bases.
Also, did you 3D print them yourself, or go through a service? Had a 3D printer guy but he fell out on me so I’ve been shopping around for a solid 3D printer service when I can…
I built remaining grenadiers today. If I manage to finish them next week, I'll be happy. I also glued Typhus and Biologus Putrifier, both for 40k Death guard.
I have decided to change process a bit. This month goal is Stegadon that I have at modellers club, but last time I spent hour trying to brush details back to light grey from airbrushed deep purple. Those couple of horns took 4 coats to cover, so I would spend probably next 3 visits just doing corrections. So I will start again. I have one primed un black and I will brush it same as I did with skink chief on stegadon. That should save me a bit of sanity and dedicated modelling time.
Yay! I drybrushed stegadon today... ish. Did first layer of drybrushing light grey when couple of bamboos on howdah broke off, so I glued it back and put it on shelf again to dry. But then I at least based my oldblood for feathered serpent entry.
Welp... My army box is still not home and not even sent... I saw auction of new Slann on sprue that nobody bid on (because of misspelled name) and took my oportunity. So it will arrive in couple of days and when my box arrives, I'll have two.
