as more constructive feedback i can only say that the "wooden beams" that holds up some of the platforms seem to not be fastened to anything, but rather jut out of the thunderlizards skin. i think the PETA will have a word or two to say about sticking wooden sticks directly into the skin of an animal :depressed: i see some of the beams are fastened on some sort of harness, and it would be super imba sweet if they all were. however, thats such a small detail, that only my evil eye can see it.

i think i speak for all of us when i say "dont you dare stop before that baby is finished, painted and photographed for us all to admire" :smug:

Wow thanks for all the feedback... keep it coming it really keeps me motivated. I am awaiting the arrival of a huge bits order that will allow me to come closure and closure to finishing the WIP part and move it to the PIP part of the project.

As for the Wooden poles... I was planning on making some sort of nesting ring for them to rest in just like the Stegadon Model. That way I can also magnetize it so it can be removed for shipping and storage :)

Anyone from here in the New England area of the US that is very skilled with Greenstuff? I was thinking after reading some comments here and on other boards to add giant scales to this beast but my skills with GS is not that great. Just thought I would ask.. PM me if you do live nearby.

Good idea with the nesting ring, thats just what I was gonna suggest. I think the steg model ones look great. Although I doubt they pass any PETA approvals as they look "imbeded"

scaly skin 1+, ward 4++ thats what i would do :) but really dont think any thing could kill this thing ;)

Wow. That thing is huge! Very awesome looking so far. I love all the platforms all over it, looks fantastic!

Good luck finishing off the conversion work, looks like a project that would require a huge amount of dedication and time! I very much look forward to seeing more of it. :D

Just a thought, but you could pile rocks on there (with the Terradon stand) and use if like a re-fueling station for Terradons, to get more rocks to drop.

Or just have the crew with a thrown weapon (the rocks) that gets +x Strength depending on distance of target. It just seems like a Lizardman thing to do...

Anyways, besides those thought that just came to me, that's AWESOME!

Really good idea KroxigorsFTW. I like the reloading rocks...I was planning on having a nest type material on the platform with a couple of other races skeletons or dead bodies but the rocks work out better I think...I am not sure if they would fit though...maybe another small platform that they can dive down on and pick them up... HMMMMMM.....

Thanks, really, it wasn't me though, when I was reading the rules, I immagined skinks shooting down at WoC (my most common opponent, so yeah, typical...) and then I immagined the skink's darts not working (as they commonly don't) and then, well they just angrily threw rocks off, which would work much better....
Then my mind flew, and this pos is really redundant.

But still, you're welcome, i'd love to field one of there...
Also, I meant to ask, is it Special or Rare? I think I know the answer, but still....

I suppose it would be a rare... but since the point value only really lends itself for Legendary Battles. I think the Unit it self would be legendary. According to the books on Lizardmen there are not that many Thunder Lizards roaming the Jungles of Lustria...

True...according to the story it takes the will of a powerful slann sway them from their path. That is why you need to have a slann as a driver that can not do anything but drive and cast 1 defensive type spell each turn.

Awesome special rules and stats you have crafted together. It would be so cool if GW ever made something like this as a playable piece. Love the light up crystal too! Amazing! Definitely keep up the good work!

Who the hell cares if PETA is upset. These are the same people who cry when an animal dies... How pathetic... The thing about animal rights is animals don't follow animal rights and we can't make animals follow animal rights... The very idea of animal "rights" is objectionable.

The points seem very low. Zacharius is 1100pts and he would get destroyed. This thing could easily kill 3000pts.

Immagine is the Slann on top had life... Regrowth (hell, even Lifebloom would be crazy) would be, like, the worst thing do-able on this monster.

Over all the beast is low but you have to purchase everything that goes on it... Posion darts guns, Skinks, Slann Driver, terradons...etc..

Hey there Lizardmen fans... just a small update. I have been awaiting bits and began working on my Jungle Movement trays for my Lizardmen army that will be placed into a Display board.
