Oh, also... you may notice these two missing atm... they broke off while painting (cleanly thankfully), which really is a blessing in disguise! Them being off the model has/will allow me to be more detailed on them than before, they should be real easy to put back on

I need to figure out how to safely get her off the base... lol kind if want to set her base up with her not on it

I like the Chalice, Nice gloss on the gems(?) in there. Are you planning on adding more colors to those Gems?
Might be Nice to mix it up a little.

I like the head especially the horns and jewellery, the eyes seem perhaps a bit to bright for a decapitated head, don't you think?

I may still add a latern to the middle of it, and I may still add a few different tones, but overall the chalice is done. The idea is that its the a chalice of Shadows, so I was going for a shadowy vibe where you cant totally tell the color of anything, outside of the blue/purple haze

So, again this is more of a homebrew thing with its eyes. The idea is that Haset infused Light magic into the head, its as much a weapon as it is a Trophy. When she points it at an enemy and pure hyshian light comes out of the Daemons eyes. So, normally id agree about them being too bright, but fir homebrew reasons they're exactly what I was going for

 

No painting updates, but here is some foodage!

Also, maybe a hint for what could be coming in the new year? We shall see!

Oh, that is genius. That is a fantastic way to fit her into the lore. Not only twinning her with a shadow god, but the god of the Chaos Dwarfs no less!

You should copy this over into your army thread too. All of it is brilliant. In fact I should really do some more work on lore-writing for the Imperishables, I've got their genesis written down but haven't fully elaborated on their societal structure and the like.

 

Thank you! I thought it fitting for many reasons, one of them definitely being a natural way to fit her into the lore as you said! I also find it fitting in the sense that, the "flaw" or whatever the Hatharions have is that if not exposed to Hysh's light/Haset or her elixir they slowly revert to a more feral/less enlightened state and give into dark/wild urges. I don't know much about Hashut and Chaos Dwarfs (still doing some research on them), but I think having the Hathorians having a dark/wild (but not chaotic) side itching to come out kinda lends to their counterparts well? yeah?

Thank you, that means a lot! It's quite the challenge coming up with a whole race, etc from scratch lol but I think I'm slowly really forming what is in my mind onto paper (well, computer lol).

That is the idea, however from now till the first week of January I am actually going through it all and reworking, fleshing out, and hopefully adding to the blank sections. I've been using the Lumineth battletome for guidance in some ways (formatting, hysh lore, etc), but I think it's time for me to truly let the imagination do its thing and really flesh it out. One thing that may change is how Haset created the Ymertican Longhorn, not sure I want to mess with an official animal in that capacity, just worried GW might actually do something with it to totally fuck over my homebrew, or is that just paranoia?

You really should! I would love to see your lore really fleshed out and how you would go about it!
