I start the painting on my Astrolight. Noot sure yet of every color to use, so i stopped until i have the right idea.

What do you think ?

Im 9n the fence about the tau parts but the over all look is awsome

I'm thinkingh about adding some runes or mystical glyph around the drone parts.
The idea is there, to mix hight tech parts and monolytics stones.

Looks incredible so far, I think the colour scheme is perfect at this point.

I didn't realize just how much detail is in the EOTG piece until you painted every single little triangle.

It looks good to me, are you going to paint the glyphs gold?

For the ring, i'll make it in stone tone. It needs some more high light. Détails inside the ring will have some gold and green.

Here some news of the artefact :

I have no blue or purlple to paint correct electric arcs, so they remain white until i get that last pigment.

The last wave to 1000pts is starting his sacred bath to let the old skin go away.
- 10 last archer group (to reach 30) + one Sally + 3 handlers.

I'm still thinking about what should i do for the bases.
Red sand, grey sand, classic jungle, Temple like stones (maybe a bit complex for the whole army)... no idea yet.

Right now. Noting much to show.
But with the new update of the Warscrolls, all my units are cheaper.
And only my chief is useless. He will be switched by a Flying priest.

So the new list will be like this :
for 1000pts
- Skink Priest -> old skink chief. Will be a conversion of a skink chief with jet pack and railgun
-Astrolith -> no changes
-40 skinks -> + 10 guys in this unit
-10 skinks -> no changes
- Stegadon-> no changes
- 2 salamandres -> no changes
- 3 handlers-> 3 guys less
- 5 Caméléon -> New unit

Hey guys I got some updates.
Small ones
- first, i found a way to base my stuff : grey and grass. Easy, fast and still dark tones. you'll see it on future models.
- got one more sally painted
- and mor archers to add, now i have a 31 unit of black skinks. 9 to goes and some cameleons and all the army (1k) will be done.

Only remains around 40 bases to do.
Here some pictures.

Till the end of the year, i'll finish the remaining bases and prepare the last 1k part (one more steggy, sally and 6 rippers and 40 skinks).

Lovely color scheme you have painted, they all look fantastic together. Just enough additional color to make the black even more mysterious. And the archaeo-tech just helps bring out the mystery more!

Hey guys, Here the new barch of stuff to update my list and reach 2k points !

The list :
- Feathered priest, converted from parts around but try to keep the archeoTech theme
- 40 skinks, another big unit of skink made from old 5ed plastic and metal archers
- 6 rippers, nothing much to say
- 1 Stegadon, the 6ed one (with flame thromers)
- 1 sally, one more of my fav old model

i have no dead line, but i'll try to finish that project this year. I hope.
And maybe play a bit with my almost finished 1k list.

Today i'd like to share my schedule painting technique.
I have a very few time to work on my minis and i hate playing with proxies and unpainted minis... yeah that's very painful i know.

First step : Divide
- make a 1K list (if it's a 2k list, just split it in 3 part), the first part Must be playable on its own, 1 heroe + 2 baseline minimum.
- then, devide it again in three parts, it's around 333 pts each.
- the step is to do only 1h "work" each day.
Yeah, sound silly when you can do only one color on each day, maybe more if you have a few minis to work on, but in a week or two, those 333pts will be completely finished and your familly still there.

This week i manage to finish one ripper, which look like sally poop if you are too close...
On regular skinks, i'v almost finish the details like gold, white and the skins. I also started at the same time the bases.
This part got
- 1 sally
- 2 Rippers
- 10 Skinks
