The looming excitement that might be TW warhammer II

The main issue you probably have is that there's some enemy agent standing around in a corner somewhere that has a bunch of bonus corruption. That tends to screw it over a lot as the AI has the tendency to just dump all its agents in your territory and rarely uses them in armies in my experience... which means you can easily end up with 5+ agents standing on around in your province screwing up corruption...

Apart from that I think it's just relative. If there's 5 points uncorrupted and 5 points corrupted you'l end up with 50%/50% if it's 6/4 you get 60%/40%. It seems fairly straightforward apart from the random hidden agents and the occasional "local population" disadvantage just after conquering it.
No I am confused by the fact that I'll have like 14 or 16 (or even more) untainted and the vampiric (or other) corruption will have 2 from local population and it will be stuck at like 14-24 corruption. That makes no sense to me, it seems that local population counts for more than what is shown.

2:14 is about 12.5%:87:5% so that'd make sense. Add in the occasional event or agent passing through and it can easily be around 20%.

Thanks now it makes sense. I still don't get why I shouldn't be able to completely cleanse the corruption but at least I know the math now.

Also the entire dessert where the vampires live have permanent vampire corruption, you can't make it go below a certain threshold.

That sucks as Kroq. I hope that Tomb Kings don't have any corruption, except for Arkhan he should be the Tomb King version of Morathi.

I've got some dire news today. Norsca won't be released for mortal empires until may 2018. They've apparently have had some major technical difficulties with Norsca's mechanics.

CA are also teasing something new for total warhammer, that should come in January. We don't know what it is because CA is being incredibly "cryptic" about it. It's never easy getting info out of CA, hell, it's much easier to find a lake in the dessert or awaken the dead.

So they are making a lake in the dessert? With dead mermaids as a faction :P

Yeah it seems like Norscan aren't a priority at the moment, which is kind of sad, since it could be interesting playing as them in the big campaign. Could be a fun Christmas campaign, every lord needs to change their name into something christmassee :) Santa Clawbringer, Rudolph the Rainkiller, etc.

It looks pretty fun, at least. A kind of God mode for quick battles. :P

In the picture I see two Ushabti, one with a bird head another with a croc head. Then I see a sepulchral stalker and the headpiece of some tomb guard. Right above the shoulder of bird head, you see some spikes, kinda look like the tail of a Necrospynx.

Now let's see what they can do with TK! I'm looking forward to a potential cinematic trailer.

Not a huge surprise, most of us playing the game could kind of guess it based on various of clues hidden around the game. Lovely to see it being revealed, though. The Tomb K has a great aesthetics which will be fun to see on the battle field, against really any other of the factions.

In case you can't read what the letter says:

Day 68, Season of Drakjra

At last our sojourn in this arid hell is almost over.

Finally, we have means to open it. Soon, my mistress, the door will rise and I shall return the stolen magic back to you.

It is strange, all this time, out here under the sun, yet we have not seen a single soul; no prisoners to take or slaves to torture. It has been dreary and monotonous... Not that my desires have overtaken our quest. No, mistress, I and my Shades have been focussed [sic]. I merely miss the distractions of Ghrond and am eager to return. And return we shall, for when the dawn comes the cypher will illuminate, the door open, and we shall take back what was always ours.

I must sign off soon for the night spreads across the desert. It is strange, we are servants of the darkness, and yet, here, it unnerves. The wind howls across the dunes even more keenly in twilight. It echoes around this dead city and seems to coalesce around these grand frivolous statutes; monuments to an extinct empire - long may it stay that way.

So, we enter the tomb on the morrow. I expect no trouble. After all, we are the only living souls for leagues.
