Lazer shooting titan!!

They looks like so much more fun than their fellow undead, vampire counts :)
Really besides wood elves, this second game seems to have all my favourite factions :P

Queen Khalida.

And Arkhan the black.

We are also getting, Grand Hierophant Khatep.

So for Legendary Lords they are getting?
  • Settra
  • Khalida
  • Arkhan
  • Khatep

That would be a pretty solid lineup of Special characters!

They look great alongside lizardmen. Their styles really seems to match one another when they are both in a shot together, something about that feathery colourful look the lizards has gotten, which still seems very archaic, just machetes that bright gem with sand and bone look of the tomb kings. Will be very nice indeed once we see some more footage, of them fighting the other races.

Still need to get my game done, I kept being so confused by the large download, apparently if installing by disk steam still believes it is downloading off the internet. So I have to uninstall and redirect the install and that :meh: Will have to find the box and try again. Not waiting 3 days for the download that keeps starting from the beginning.

Waaiiiittt..... Arkhan the Black is a Tomb King?
Yeah go ahead and make fun of me, I only know AoS so I have no clue about Tomb Kings, I just assumed they are all gone. :D

...it would explain his look though, now that I think about it.

Well, Nagash itself was, first of all, a traitor of Nehekhara.
He was formerly a High Priest (son of a King of Khemri) and it was him that caused, with the Great Ritual, the "birth" of the Tomb Kings as undead (the ritual didn't go exactly as planned).
So yeah, his lieutenant Arkhan was a TK and, despite the hostility between Nagash and Settra, Arkhan managed to mantain a powerful position in Nehekhara.

I just had to google Nehekhara to see if it is really the Kingdom, like I assumed. :D
Thanks for the info!

Exactly what @Killer Angel said. Additionally, Arkhan was one of the special characters in the 8th Edition warhammer fantasy army book (one of the better characters too!). Now while Arkhan is a Tomb King, his loyalty is always to Nagash.

I have not the slightest clue who all those guys are but they sure look cool.

Fun fact. Arkhan got the nickname, the black, because when he was still alive, he had horrible dental hygiene. His teeth were so rotten, they looked completely black. His title is actually just a joke at his expense.

Nice, didn't know that.

Btw that's exactly the story how a real world viking guy named Blatann (the Bluetooth standard is named after him) got his nickname. Blue means black. I also spelled him wrong, the first "a" has a circle over it, and is pronounced like an "o".

Harald Blåtand is his name.
