The never-ending battle against woke Hollywood and SJW infused entertainment media [trigger warning]

There is a rumor, though it is not a very credible rumor, that Amazon is considering rebooting Rings of Power from the beginning.

If they make Season 1 "a bad dream", I will consider subscribing to Amazon Prime to watch this. If they retcon season 1 away and replace the show runners and leading actress, I will definitely give season 2 a watch even if they are likely to still screw it up. At least it would demonstrate they are trying to give the fans what they want.

Personally, I'd need a bit more than that. In addition to what you mentioned above, the new season/show would have to pass the YouTube test and receive glowing recommendations from the Critical Drinker, Geeks & Gamers, etc. Amazon needs to do more than "trying" (especially after the way they have behaved and treated the fans), they need to deliver a great product. I'm only willing to financially support quality entertainment. While being non-woke is an absolute necessity, I don't feel that it is enough on its own. Plus, I don't really trust Amazon at this point. They need to earn back that trust.

I agree, while trying to retcon the woke abomination they've just released is good, there won't be much point if what they replace it with is equally bad, just in a different way. They actually have to replace it with something that can match the Jackson Middle-Earth content in quality if the fans are ever going to consider accepting it as a legit Middle-Earth production.

why is Wokeanda so filled with black people? Shouldn't it reflect the world we live in today?

I finally saw Black Adam. A good movie. Not perfect, but I was entertained and it's a step in the right direction. Good action, reasonable pacing, decent acting, it had strong female characters and a diverse cast without being preachy about it or belittling men.

It had more than a few minor flaws in it, but not enough to drag down the movie. I believe this movie was started by the pre-Zaslov WB team but Zaslov had an opportunity to alter it significantly as opposed to the cancelled Batgirl movie that was already finished and irreparably ruined when he got it.

(Pleasantly) surprised to hear it. From what I had heard, it got the impression that it wasn't very good.

I have been told by my friends that I'm not hard to please with movies. Or maybe my friends just don't like movies as much as I. They generally don't respond to me saying something is pretty good, they wait for me to say something is great.

Black Adam is not woke. There is a rumor that the reshoots and edits was Zaslov insisting that the wokeness be removed or toned done.

This is definitely filling my Youtube newsfeed as every Youtuber I watch regularly has something to say. They pretty much have the same consensus opinion as Critical Drinker. Critical Drinker is just more concise and entertaining than most. Though I always like Call Me Chato's take.

Fire the guy who inherited Disney's problems and rehire the guy who created them.

As they say: out with the old and in with the older. ;)
