I was never a fan of Dahl's works. I have always thought of them as crude and anarchic, hardly worthy of the accolades they have been granted. However, at least they weren't woke (unlike those of his self-proclaimed successor, David Walliams).

I'm surprised and shocked that another great national institution, Penguin Books, has fallen to low practices, not to mention Dahl's estate, which is in charge of preserving his legacy, not destroying it.

'Wokewaffen' is a good new descriptor, but I prefer 'The Woke Virus', for the way it spreads makes me feel like the Phaeron of a Necron Dynasty that is gradually being eaten from the inside out by the Flayer Virus. I can only watch as more and more individuals that I thought were normal succumb to vile, depraved, incurable madness, and all I can do is strive to keep myself sane to ensure I do not fall to the same fate.

To be fair, reality isn't even cold and hard, it's just reality, normality, mundane day-to-day life as it has existed over countless years. Yet the Left can't even understand or accept this, which shows how pathetic they are.

From what I can tell, not all the problems in Quantimania are woke based. The writing is full of lazy contrivances and plot holes, the villain is not impressive, the character arcs are weak, the CGI is a bit lacking and tacky, the movie has jarring shifts between ultra serious and ultra humorous tones, and the overall movie goes against the spirit of the original Antman movie people liked.

Also, it's woke.

Thomas Sowell does a very good job taking apart social justice ideology logically while still acknowledging that the people espousing it have good intention and explaining how and why their good intentions go awry.

It is long though. I don't think it will win many arguments because only people who generally agree with his position to begin with will sit through a 16 minute video, though it does have brightly colored visual aids. Marhlect 21st century lowering everyone's attention span...

Nothing he said in the video is wrong vias nouns and verbs but his adjectives are misplaced.

I don't see this as a "catastrophic failure". It is a regular failure at worst.

I'm not sure if the creator "wasted his time". Multiple shows that lasted six seasons is a failure, at least for him.

The CW as a whole lost money but I bet the creator dude didn't lose money personally. He shouldn't whine about it.

If you got a lot of fans (at least at first) but don't make a profit, that is not the creative team's fault, it's the producer's fault for not balancing costs better.

I also don't think the decline of the CW can be laid entirely at the feet of wokeness. Though it did creep into Flash and Arrow and Batwoman (which I never saw) was built on a foundation of woke.

Don't forget Supergirl. I've never seen it, but from what I've gathered, it was absolutely chock-full of woke.
