Free monday, which means I can continue placing 10 layers of orange on black! All hail zenithal
Continued on my magnetizing... This time it's my Tomb King Skeles...
The hordes being magnetized and then being placed on metal movement trays in the storage box. Tedious but I'm getting there.
I am working on my forces of Rivendell
In particular some conversions
I got a DnD gnoll done using straight contrast paints. It was a quick and dirty paint job on something that's been sitting around for too long. This is actually a test model to see how the contrast paint and (more importantly) the basing hold up when I matte varnish them.
Still waiting on my paints to arrive, but something rare and wonderful came in the mail today:
And the quest for magnetization continues... I've finished the rest of my skeleton warriors and archers (plus my Screaming Skull Catapault crew).
Putting some words down on paper to form a coherent short story for this month's competition.
Did another gnoll for my Oathmark wulver squad. One more to go, then I'll post pictures.
Magnetized my Flesh Hounds of Khorne and Karanak.
Love these models.
Finished up my gnolls.
I'm working on converting a Sisters of Battle Imagifier into an Exalted Sorceress of Tzeentch while I stare at a box of Sisters of the Watch that, stubbornly, aren't going to build themselves for me.
The quest for full magnetization continues.... Last night I finished my Ushabti, my Tomb King characters on foot, my two Bone Giants (Hierotitan or other Monster proxies) and my Tomb Scorpions.
@NIGHTBRINGER @Killer Angel
Literally. Actually, it's an interesting idea and who's to say that a SoB wouldn't fall to Tzneech?
Agreed. I started with this:
and dug this out of my bits bin:
Yes, that is a home-brew Disc of Tzeentch conversion.
And I wound up with this:
Not totally done yet - hood needs some green stuff to make it a little bigger, and maybe some Tzaangor horns for good measure, which I added but have not taken a pic of yet.
My workstaytion is quite a mess. Working on multiple things at the same time.
But I managed to finish 5 Rivendell Warriors today.
So, I got some paint time in today. The first of Ylthari's Guardians is done and I'm almost done with Gotrek, but need to finish a few things.
well, given that a Sister Superior already fell to Slaanesh...
Assembled my Starblood Stalkers warband. Definitely very cool-looking minis. I'll be using them as leaders, an Oldblood and a Starpriest in my main army.
