Got some Halloween games planned today, involving a lot of witch (aelfs) and undead. May also get in a game of Necromunda, but I won't bet on it being a sure thing.

As for my Daughters of Khaine collection, I'm amusing myself with the fact that the Anvilgard Start Collecting box set is worth a little less than 400 points total, and with quite a few points left to spend to get to 2000 I figured there'd be no harm in getting one at a local hobby shop since GW is closed Mondays and Tuesdays here. I guess my snake ladies will now have themselves a Black Ark.

    It is done.
The starpriest is painted. I really like the colour sceme on the feathers and the green gems on the staff fit well with the general orange/y colour sceme of the model. but most important ... with him, my very first warhammer army EVER is complete!

I managed to score the Warhammer+ Ironjawz Megaboss and an Astrolith Bearer, both still in packaging, for a very decent price :)
    Eagerly awaiting delivery

Contemplating if you could mix Hobgrot and Ungor parts with old Goblin Wolf Rider heads to make Common Goblins for WFB.

I'm just mostly trying to tidy and sort some of the hobby space.
Found myself skipping on Armies on Parade this year, mostly due to some mixed health issues I've been having so aiming for next year instead. Last minute I thought I could have just touched up last years and brought it down to the store, being that I want to remake some bases and all.
Currently saving up to get a hobby shed done as it will just makes thing easier for me, going to take some time but it will be nice having that organised space and not risk myself trying to carry the air compressor or boxes down the stairs. This is when everyone released all the good miniatures and models.

Probably will continue tidying the space while I wait for an exciting miniature to come in the mail, a very special one.

I love conversions. They're a nice way to add even more unicness to your minis.
I've recently build some Terradon Riders, which have multiple options on riders and weapons. What to do with the remaining parts? ... I made some spare skinks to add as a understrength unit.

The only Ungor parts you could really use to make Common Goblins are weapons and shields, but it definitely sounds like it would be possible.

Good idea, I certainly was able to make an extra Skink Chief after I had built my Terradon Riders. I stuck him on the pile of rocks from the now-OOP High Elf Archmage and Mage kit, and also stuck the toad on the base as a companion for him.

Ha, I was absolutely confused about there being a random toad, until someone told me it's a marker for a Riperdactyl-Ability :D
Don't know what to do with it, but stucking it on a base as decoration seems fitting.

Not so much today...but last weekend I went to a two day painting course hosted by Meg Maples. Hopefully I have learnt a few things. Time will tell. Some examples of her amazing work below:

I wonder how much time you spent, figuring out how to properly shade breasts o_O
But I'm also blown away by the amount of details and high-lighting you got there. Skin is something I'm still intimidated by.

    Good work.

The busts shown are all Meg's work.
I struggled a bit as I was using scale 75 artists acrylics for the first time. I only had about 9 colours so everything I did I had to mix up the appropriate colour from what I had. Made me think about the colour wheel and variation. Also the way she does shading is something I wouldn't have thought of with colour combinations.

Well as of Saturday (so now) I have the entire day (from 2pm) free to myself so I have a free rein to attack my goals for this month :D
By chance was this on Marktplaats? I kept seeing one pop up for a steal but couldn't find it again when I last looked o_O
Could you possibly tell me what kind of foam you use for your scenery building and where I could get my hands on some?

Was planning on playing an Age of Sigmar game with my Melusai. Sadly, the power went out at my opponent's place so we settled on playing Bloodbowl by candle light.

    Halflings (me) vs Greenskins.

My opponent stalled a lot with his ball carrier while thumping my halflings, guaranteeing that he'd put a few of them into the casualty box while preventing me from being able to get the ball for most of the game. Granted, I don't play Halflings to win, but to have fun chucking them down the field with my treemen, and on the last turn of the game I scored a 1-turn touchdown by doing just that. The game ended 2-1 for my opponent, with him also scoring 3 casualties (all back next game, mind you, save for a journeyman who just flat-out died).

Lamenting and joyously celebrating the loss and potential recovery of an amazon package that has a stainless steel resin filter, and more importantly a new travel wet pallet.

Apart from that, I am spending the day as solo parent, and who knows, we might just get to paint together...

I am sorry to say that it was indeed from Marktplaats  I even managed to get it cheaper in a combination deal with the Megaboss:rolleyes:

The foam I use comws from Ikea: Nivå ondervloer 5mm. Package of around 6m² for €18,25

I primed 29 saurus warriors just now, did a quick count of 5th edition lizardmen shields to ensure that I had enough and I bought a NIB carnosaur off Ebay.
