What are you doing today hobbywise?

Okay, this is the completed project (inspired by @NIGHTBRINGER's stories of his own magnetized transport system and by a very helpful article I found here). I'm really happy with it as I feel I have my models on display (mainly for my viewing pleasure) but I can also transport them around when needed for a game.

I had to touch up the undercoat on my Rot Toads. I thought I'd gotten all of them, but I turned them over and there was a bunch not undercoated... :(

Going with black this time. Will post in my paint log when I've done the Base layers.

Sometimes it is hard to get all angles correctly sprayed, also you will not want to overdo it otherwise it is possible to lose a lot of details.

Grrr, Imrahil

Totally.

Plus these are 3D printed models and the detail is really not that detailed if you know what I mean... :(

Whilst not something on my end per say, a friend of mine just got himself a resin 3D printer and has offered to print some ships for Victory at Sea. I'll be keeping with the theme of playing Imperial Japanese for WW2 games and, with us aiming for 1941, I requested the carrier group that fought at Midway.

Thus far, I will be one of the 2 carrier-heavy players in the group when I get back home from my RL naval deployment.

That sounds great!

He's also offered to resin print some Lost Kingdom salamanders for me as well. In return, I'm effectively responsible for buying the bottles of resin required.

As an aside, the same person has jokingly considered printing off a dinosaur-heavy Southlands army to annoy me.

Still working on some Stormcast, plus a couple other small projects. And I got a bit of paint on the last of the Eyes of the Nine who's been sitting in my to do pile for far too long.
