What are you doing today hobbywise?

1010?
that's a weird format... ;)
Haha It just so happened both armies were 10 points over, seems perfect no? However it didn't happen in any form and has been rescheduled as MESBG for another day. I felt a little out of sorts when we came to play and suggested we didn't and for sure today I have a sore throat and feel bleh :argh:

I'll do a final inspection tomorrow for any mistakes and then will take pictures. Also I downloaded the pdf for the fan made 8th edition DOW list as I lost it when my previous computer died.

If that's Matthias Eliasson's attempt at a fan list for that army then likely the one you downloaded won't be pure 8th Edition, as he deleted all his 8th Edition stuff a while back to focus on his own 9th edition project (which has some differences in rules), much like the 9th Age before him.

I seem to have lucked out and found a copy of the actual 8th edition list. Nothing smacks of 9th age or any other 9th edition fan lists.

Hmm... hobbywise... I have been browsing Amazon and Ebay looking for things I can convert for my Orks. My Orruk Brutes arrived, so I'm working on getting the Ironjawz section of my Orruk Warclans army in usable condition. Also I bought some Foam Clay, and I'm trying to design something in my head that I can build using said Foam Clay.

Recently had an MESBG order arrive on my doorstep that I've been waiting on for three months, courtesy of most of the models being Made-To-Order:

- Witch-King of Angmar on Fell Beast
- 2 boxes of Warriors of the Last Alliance
- 4 blisters of Grey Company rangers
- Cirion and Berengond
- Halbarad
- 1 metal blister of Mordor Orc Captains

With the exception of the elves from the Last Alliance boxes (they're reserved for a fellow player in my gaming group), I pretty much got all the miniatures cleaned up and put together.

As to why I picked up the Last Alliance boxes in the first place, it's pretty much because I'm not a particularly big fan of the Arnor minis that GW doesn't keep in stock (I'll gladly use third party versions of them as captains however), in addition to fond memories of playing Battle for Middle-Earth 2: Rise of the Witch-King (Arnor in the campaign were Numenorean reskins of Men of the West).

All the plywood is finally up in the shed, just needs all the filling and painting done and I can actually start moving all the hobby stuff in. :woot:
Still chipping at the World of Twilight minis, it's the last stretch of the challenge, hoping to finish early as I'm waiting on some minis to arrive for a contest so once they arrive I can jump straight in. Then I remember about Armies on Parade but busy with non-Warhammer as it's easier painting such smaller or single models in comparison of a consistent large army+board.
I still question myself on taking part in contests as I get crazy hopeful but I know I have a lot to learn when it comes to painting but hey, it's gets stuff painted and I learn along the way.
There is a sculpture I want to make, not really wargaming related but want to make a sculpture of an art piece I made a while back.

Hobby wise I am doing nothing. I’ve completely lost my mojo recently :(
Sadly, similar. I had less time in the last year or two, but I dont know if thats an excuse. Next to weeks are a relax time to think about a few things, including hobby.

Took the reprieve from sailing last night to finally get some primer on some 24 minis that are currently the latest additions to my Arnor collection - 12 Warriors (Numenoreans) and 12 Rangers (Grey Company).

As such, the collection now stands as follows:

20230623_005134.jpg

26 Warriors of Arnor (12 Numenoreans with spears, 14 without)
12 Rangers of Arnor with Spears (Grey Company)
4 Captains of Arnor (3× Unreleased Miniatures, 1× SigmariteBoutique)
14 Hobbit Archers (Medbury Miniatures)
3 Banner Bearers (Boromir, Unreleased Miniatures, Halbarad)
3 Halflings with Warhorns (Medbury Miniatures)
2 Kings of Arnor (Unreleased Miniatures, Medbury Miniatures)
1 Malbeth the Seer (Medbury Miniatures)
