if only the skink handlers would be easy to convert.. thanks to how they're holding their spears you have to redo half the skink to get it to fit in with normal skinks... otherwise it's awkardly clutching its blowpipe to its chest or something silly like that.

meh, even on a stegadon they'd look out of place I think. They point their spears forward, so unless your stegadon is fighting something equally large or flyers they're just stabbig at the air.exactly. That's what the other crew members do as well. Check out my Stegadon, I think the two handlers look ok and not too much out of place although they are a bit larger.
The others tend to either be throwing their spears, stabbing downward, or are simpy holding them up/carrying them. I guess the fact that I would use them for kings of war meant I thought multibasing and ranking them offset to each other, immediatly
