A Tale of four (many?) Warlords Painting Challenge!

I have two terrain ideas (and both intimidate me :confused:), one is Lizardmen themed and the other is for another army. I'm not sure if I can successfully pull off either piece, but a competition makes for a great excuse to try something I might otherwise shy away from and to push my skills to their very limit. I felt the same way with the Golden Serpent contest, I had talked about doing such a conversion for years, but the comp finally spurred me on to give it a go.

I'm thinking same as last time but there may not be prizes so it will just be more of a terrain challenge.

Agreed, prizes aren't necessary, but I am willing to donate my entry as a prize. Won't be a great prize, but what the hell, it's something. And I have some snow covered pine trees from xmas decorations still in the package, that I can make a base for and add that in as well.
 
I'll probably not pay international shipping cos I'm a cheap ass, but I'll gladly make some of the aztec ruins I use on my bases and post that and a pack of flowers to whoever wins also.

[_✔️_] 12 Warriors (...not sure I have 12 all the same...)

So if I was to do this I would need to substitute something for the Carnosaur. I have some Cold One Knights primed already. For Saurus Warriors I will have to dig thru sprues might or might not have 12 similar Saurus Warriors. I have many more unpainted Skinks.

What if it was:

Bastilodon or Stegadon
8 Cold One Riders
12 Skinks with Bows

??

Nope you don't need to anything more than that, @BeardyGecko is not putting restrictions on anything.

Exactly, you can paint anything you want. The goal is to manage to paint a (more or less similar) amount of models in the time frame.
Ps: for my space marines I´ll provably be painting 10 scouts with sniper rifles a land speeder storm, and hopefully 3 scout motorbikes
 
Is everybody set and ready to go? I completely forgot it was a bank holiday Monday so that's a massive bonus for UK participants :p

Oh and I'm going to be putting some guys together over the next few days unless there's an objection to that? It takes me ages to get through that usually, so I don't want it to get in the way of the actual painting!
 
Not exactly ready but hopefully soon!

10x Scouts with sniper rifles
1x land speeder storm
3x scout motorbikes (?)

The only problem I might encounter is that I´ll be having final exams in a month and a half. I´ll finish school on June 15th, so hopefully I´ll be able to pull some more models off those two last weeks anyways :)

Start: May 1st
Finish: June 30th

The goal: to paint a complete Start Collecting! (or any similar conbination of models) box of any army (40k included).
On May 1st all the participants will post a picture of their start collecting (and possibly any other boxes for planned conversions if wished, obviously ;)), and once every week of what they´ve done so far, possibly on Sundays
