Yes, indeed, it is... she told me they collect it in the bushland... like kids do collect feathers in the forest here in Germany...

Had good results starting with the left foot... so that's the way I continue...

And I found that the unused arc of sotek makes a nice basing for the one of them...

This on was tricky... no solid ground to work on... Will definitely have to return to this one when it's completely hard... some cutting and fueling before a tiny bit of garden.. .

And I decided to give the skink a cloak... with a hoodie...

All of them will have to wait some days until they will become twohanded... Will have to prepare myself for the upcoming tests on Tuesday...
Hope you like it so far and maybe you have further tips and ideas or comments at hand to help me avoid learning all weekend (heard that it's unhealthy) by leaving them here...

Added weapon and shieldarm... also started working on his shield (otherwise it would have only been a left arm)... as a sun blood he's got to have a bigger should I guess...

Gotta get these exams do... can't wait to get out the paints and brushes and start painting again... sadly there is not much room on my table at the moment...

Quite happy with my sun blood conversion at this point... what do you think? (Careful pictures are even less professional than usual...)

I also gave his comrade some eyebrows...

...and started detailing the beast head...

I heard that learning isn't efficient on the last day before a test... so...
Does anyone else remember that there were skinks with different crests back in fifth edition? Might be a chance they're returning...

It's coming along...
No active green stuff left so I will have to continue later...

I also thought the head of the sun blood needed a little love... trying to make the crest a little bigger and the whole head more spiky...

And also worked on his shield... Gotta have spikes on his shield shield to be a sun blood, don't he?(if you have a sharp eye you can try to compare the fingerprints! )

And I am trying to hide the skullhelmet on the third guy...

Don't know if I will give some dreadlocks to one of them... might be a cool alien vs predator look...

Group shot of all three converted saurus...
Still need to figure out wether to give all of them similar weapons or all different...
Shields gonna be different anyway... one will get a square shield and one will get a oval shaped African kind of shield...

Also did some glueing on the latest skink conversion... little bit of green stuff work needed, but almost finished...

Still not sure if I should keep his right arm this way... initially wanted a more chilled pose for this guy... maybe I can turn the hand and lower the arm so that the tip of the sword is on the ground... Will have to check that out...

Painting today... had to check and shake all the pots and bottles cause they spend long time untouched in the racks...
Started painting the first razordon...

Will try to create a kind of black tiger pattern on the red skin...
And I redid my ripper test model... I somehow like it that way... not sure if I will paint the body blue... initially I wanted to create some night sky feeling for the unit...
definitely going to keep the inside of the mouth purple...

Not sure if it was the right thing to do... but... have the ripper a complete wash with druchiri violence and a glace of gullyman blue on the body and arms... then highlights with light grey and a decreasing amount of the purple wash... finally another wash of purple... here is the result...

Looks quite ok... though the mouth does not stand out like before... not sure if I should go back to grey somehow... or maybe go an extem way and just give him a drybrushing of pure light grey...
Any suggestions, comments and/or critic is very welcome!

Sooo... I decided to give the ripper a drybrushing of light grey again to brighten up the body... then I thinned down so purple wash with some water and medium... 4-2-4... And gave the body a final wash... the wings experienced heavy drybrushing with light purple...

Did some little sculpting lesson for the little one ...
She made an elephant

Had to go to the hospital later cause she smashed her front teeth on the rim of her bed... you can guess how happy she was when "Doc Mustafa" (guess he always uses his first name when dealing with children) told her that everything is alright and wrote a prescription for TWO portions of ice cream...
That and learning for the rest on Tuesday prohibited any progress on my projects... but I guess the elephant is worth sharing...
