Had a funny idea! As I am somehow into dwarfs atm I thought it would be fun to make a unit / army of garden gnomes...
What do you people think about that? Some small ones wielding spades shovels rakes shears and flower pots...
Here a sketch I made in my last English lesson:

Yes! Do this! Garden gnomes are far better than dwarves! Haha!

I would love to see that! The thought of small garden gnomes running about attacking Chaos and huge beasts with shovels.

Got some milliput today, so according to my speed of working you can expect the first try in about a week or two... Maybe earlier...

They remind me of the old halfling models, making a fun army is what this hobby is about, I started painting my furry squig hoppers last night and I was laughing all the time.

    Can't wait to see them.

People! One question! Do/ Should lawn gnomes have wizards? What do you think? I mean in Germany they are referred to as garden dwarfs... Dwarfs are not much into magic... But some of them have pointed ears like elves, who are the second best wizards I know...

My idea was that they have wizards, but I'm interested in your opinion. So tell me what you think! ;)

Update!!! Quite satisfied with the mage. The slim one got some arms... And I made some shoes for a small fat one who is still heavy wip. (well actually he's not more than a smaller and a bigger ball of putty on a cone shaped armature... Well actually he's only armature...) here some pics!

Will have to do something with the hat I think... And he will be getting some bushy eyebrows... But now the stuff has to get hard first... I'm always wanting too much and start destroying my own work... ;)
    Glad you like it!

Here my new skink colors... Light skin green scales and a light purple crest... I varied the tone of green on the scales and the skin tone to have some variety and painted (or am planning to) the crest in different styles... Some will have the main rip (?) in skin color some in scale color and some in crest color... Maybe I'll use a darker purple for the main rip in the last case... Pic:
