Blog Ritual's Army - Lizard on Lizard Action (For the Waaaaagh!)

Amazing work, I am just now noticing some of the tiny details of this model like the yellow chaos-circles you painted on his gut and the flaming skull-brazier sticking out of his head-neck-shoulder.

I have the funds earmarked for my final Nurgle army list, so with the birthday coming up I am trying to decide what I should look at next.

2000 point Nurgle list is looking like this:

GUO
Slimux
Spoilpox
Plaguebearers (10) x 3
Plague Drones (3) x 2
Beasts of Nurgle x 3
Nurgles' Menagerie

Puts me in at 1960 points. There's also 4-5 Gnarlmaws required for that, which I'm not accounting for because I can pick those up over time for games.

So with all that acquired... The question is what do I do next?

I am considering a small, elite army. Probably for 40k, but potentially AoS. Small model count, maybe some nice Forgeworld units in there. Time to go window shopping!

Going to get another SC box next week or so and then see what happens with the Malign Portents.
 
No, it was still earlyish WIP when the pictures came out from the open day in August? last year... I'd say it won't even be hitting production until middle of this year... It's massive though. Definitely going to be at least £400.
 
No painting done this weekend (though I did do 5 plaguebearers on Friday) - I was driving about all over the place buying furniture and stuff for the house. I did also finally get the marine fish tank I have been gunning for for years, so overall it was productive.

I also decided that Death Korps of Krieg is finally happening. I have been toying with the idea for months, and it got back in my head over the weekend - I've not talked myself out of it in over 48 hours, which never happens... So I think it's time.

I need to get my act together and eBay some of the other stuff I am sitting on though to make room for it.

General plan is going to be:

40k - DKoK
AoS - Potentially still Death, I really have this ghostly army idea in my head. But still pending.
Both - Nurgle Daemons

3 armies is enough, and then I can have one display cabinet for each :D
 
Absolutely! They're the grimdarkest of the grimdark, I love them. Just didn't know until now if I can commit to the expensive models and the amount of models that I would need to paint.

Decided that I could...
