Pretty much everything you said is how I view our magic. I never take ushabti and stopped taking sphinx as they died far too easily and I couldn't heal them nearly quick enough to change that. I know some have had success with ushabti but I haven't. If we could get rid of Skullstorm and take the Golden Age I would be a happy man. I think I used Skullstorm three times in the years I've played 8th and it never was worth the effort to cast it. It's not worthless but I don't put any stock in its use. I don't think a loss of Unstable would be a good thing for the reasons you stated but adding the ability to March while near the General or Heirophant don't care which one and better healing(CHARACTERS) would be nice. My next biggest wishlist item would be Constructs being immune to poison, it would make them usable which in my area they aren't.

AFAIK we need to field them in a large block, but it's a big points sink.

The fact that we need a spell to achieve what all the other armies do for free, is just madness.

Weird constructs, aren't they? all those statues that become sick for some blowpipe darts dipped into berry juice...

Hahaha! The marching didn't bother me in 7th as we were a surprisingly fast army with movement spells on so many characters. The ability to charge magically was huge! We slowed down in 8th and IMO chariots lost any ability to do real damage due to hordes, fear nerf and BSBs being the best thing since sliced bread to every other army. If I field 12 Ushabti it better do some real damage for the cost, sadly adding in support ect it has never felt justified to lose everything else I could have fielded.

Oh this is surprisingly difficult. I think there is a risk of the LM not being included, especially because it called The Old World and LM are rarely seen there. However given the amount of love we go in TWII I think GW would risk upsetting a lot of people if they didn't include the LM. I also know several people on this forum who will riot and burn GW headquarters to the ground if they don't include the Lizardmen, so there's that.

'GW, you have chosen... DEATH' *tramples HQ w/ stegadon*

Oh wait, I forgot about Konquata and the Albion subplot. Could be an excuse to put LM in.

If you look in the top right, I'm pretty sure thats a Chaos Dwarf symbol...

You can see the Plain of Zharr in the lower right corner. That is home to Zharr-Naggrund, the Chaos Dwarf Capital.

Yes it is a CD symbol. Also further north is the Kingdom of the Hobgoblin Khans.
    Dare we live in hope......
Or have GW staff just been lazy and rehashed an old map without looking at it properly.....

The 'like' button cannot describe how much I like those minis. I have that boss with the big axe and the fancy wolf's head, but he's just about the only hobgob I have left other than Ghazah Khan. :(

I also had Oglar Khan's wolfboys (Regiments of Renown) but unfortunately my sister threw them out when I was overseas. NOT HAPPY

So These are designs from the Warhammer TOW team... Does this mean they will be featured in TOW as models?
The Cannon has been described in a specific enough way to be part of a warscroll for Tabletop...

    Grrr, Imrahil

I first saw these pictures on Facebook in one of the Warhammer Groups.

I thought the Elemental Bear looked awful. But, now that I have read the context I like it a bit better.

I hate the polar bear cannons.

( At this point everyone should look up “The Tsar Cannon” for reference. )

The dim flickering bulbs who designed this ice sledge cannon need to be subjected to some sort of Kislevan corporal punishment as a reward for their “ brilliant ” effort.

Not even the grisly comedy of what would happen were the thing to fire can save this from being the newly crowned Warhammer model I detest the most.

The Facebook fanboys that I saw whinging, cooing, and kvetching over these pictures thought they were from the video-computer game design group.

“Warhammer: Total War 3rd edition” for the record. (No idea if they were correct about this.)

But many of the poor souls who are fans of the yet to exist “Warhammer: The Old Worlde” have convinced themselves (on no evidence) that the tabletop game they hope to live long enough to see is going to closely resemble the computer game.
