Stewart: Thanks, ya those Krox aren't for everyone, the benifits they are super cheap and the right size. Negatives they don't come with the right size base and they are a tad skinny.

Ya I have absolutely no problem with people using slightly less detailed models from other lines to replace the far more expensive GW ones. If I faced you, I would look at them and think 'I don't like them, but the paint is well done', really there are plenty of GW models I don't like either. It is personal preference.

Also, I just looked back through the depth at your zombie ogres for inspiration painting blood since there should be a bit on my engine. I don't think I commented before, they look cool. Lately I have been using straight unwatered red ink to give a blood effect, which I will probably stick with, but the ogres certainly gave me a few ideas. Nice work.

That's 175 points, my mathematically challenged friend. A conversion would boost you to 275, and then you only have to justify 25 points of items.

Okay. Cut it kinda close, but after 3 days of frantic painting, and an evening of frantic basing, I have my 305 points.
A cold one I converted into a Scar Vet (large head-plate, shoulder pad [light armor] clubbed tail on the cold one, and a thigh-plate on it's right leg) as well as a 15 man unit of saurus with spears and a unit champion (the guy with an axe)
Scar vet with shield light armor and cold one 113, + 15 x saurus with spears (180) and champion (12)(192) = 305 (correct my math if it needs corrected)
Anyways, here they are;

Well I'm in for the july month how do I sign up? 1 question when you say 300 points does that include points for being musician, champion, wearing spears etc?
