Well, the friend I am buying those figs from didn't have them ready, but he should (say again, "should") have them at our campaign game tomorrow. If not, i'll paint my temple guard. SHould have 300 points.

Re: 300 point club - June Submissions due July 7th!

Seems this is dying off, no submissions for a few weeks.
I've more or less finished my 40k salamanders, so my next project is lizzardmen. I've not played fantasy in years (What edition had them in the box set? I have loads of those sitting in my bits box) so i'm keeping it simple. I have already paided 10 skinks, and have a 5*5 block of saurus primed.
I have 2 weeks off, so should get 300 points plus some to catch up done before the 7th of july no problem.

Yeah I don't think you're going to make the 7th of July. :p

Wow LM and Bretonnians were 5th edition I believe, that was a fair while ago.

Good luck with your army, and welcome to the forum! :)

Ok been painting 3 days in a row now (+ eating, drinking and waiting for wash to dry) and this is my submission, not completely done but it will be. P.S Not everything in the red circle is part of the submission (some where painted before) and the 513 is not really exact but very close :D

Okay, I actually finished these a few days ago, but had a hard time getting the camera/computer to take/upload pics. Anyway, here they are. I have 1 team left to finish but oh well.

In the (1st) pic, there's 3 salamanders, but the one in the bottom right i painted MONTHS ago, so I'm not counting it for this month... 'cause, you know, it's not....
Sorry for the broken links. Fixed now.

Welcome! And, as a welcome, I have a question.
What did you do for your razordon's flesh? I very much like that look.

Well I dont use the GW paint, I use the Vallejo paint, IMO it's a lot better.

Here is the conversion list: http://groups.google.com/group/fow-madison/web/vallejo-to-gw-paint-comparison-table (I see now that this isn't the complete list, but you have to look for a complete one yourself)

I use for the skin tone(in Vallejo colors):Carne base and mix it with tiny bits of Hull Red, Scarlet, Flat Yellow.

Okay. I've been postponing getting on here, as I've been too busy anticipating and painting my carnosaur. I'm just about finished, and should have pics before too long.

EDIT: I'm sorry for the wait on the pics, my camera has done an amazing job hiding from me.

Okay, after (finally) finding my camera and (finally) overcoming my unwillingness to go get my carnosaur, I got my pics!

    From the left:
    DSC00882.jpg
No, it is NOT that bright, the flash on my camera was a bit extreme.... That's why is is the only pic with flash on.

    Above and front:

And a good shot of the scales:

    C&C welcome, as always,

I based my model with the GW basing materials. Dirt flock, static grass, and the rocks are the rocky basing grit.

Thanks. Took about 2 or 2 and a half weeks....
