AoS Are Ossiarchs any good? (Practice not theory)

    Yeah, +1 saves are very likely the most ridiculous ability of any faction or sub faction. It can be dealt with, but it is not fun to play against

    well it would be fine if it wasn't for everything else they get a standerd 3+ save isnt that great my cities army has that but they still die all the time it's mixing that with easy acses to rerollable saves that breaks it

    yep. You see an OBR army across the table from you, start playing solitaire. Stall them and get max points and hope it’s enough to win. Don’t fight, just focus on surviving.

    It’s not as much a hard counter for other factions as you might think. Many have -2 and -3 rend on attacks with large damage that will force through damage. Many also have the ability to spam mortal wounds and endless spells. Both of which deal well with OBR. Slaneesh struggles with the high armor because it relies on its seekers and keepers, both of which get shut down by petrifex OBR.

    the dread would do an average of 3-5 wounds you badly need weight of attacks with OBR

    same problem when i say weight of dice i mean 100 attacks or more. which is to bad i like salamanders

    Closest we have is saurus knights. Take a large unit, buff them and then let the cold ones do 60 attacks hitting on 3s, re-rolling 1s, with exploding 6s, and maybe you will kill 10 OBR models.

    seriously though don’t fight them.

    Sucks being the oldest book fighting the newest book but thems the breaks. Gotta be old cagey and downright dirty to win. Don’t play their game, ignore it and win the sneaky skink way.

    hay you don't have teleports? that sucks have a line of 40 skinks 3" from your starting positions HA! and then i do it again!

    It’s been working for me.

    The trick is being able to do that while capping objectives and being able to deal with the other 10 common armies in the game. Still working on that part.

    it works on most armies if you get the drop of just runn aa full summoning list 2 blocks of 40 skinks and make it a one drop then pin them in the back feild turn one and layer the skinks 3" back over and over again dosnt wok against flying buy slanesh hates it orks hate it ogars hate it khorn hates. it's the trollyist army ever!
