Character Challenge

I'm all for this, count me in. Now to work feverishly to complete what I've been working on. Do I need to say what exactly I will be working on?
 
Count me in - I'll be painting up a bunch of stuff between now and then anyway. Planning a Skink BSB conversion at the moment, so this will probably be my entry...
 
Count me in on this as well. I will paint Oxotyl (chameleon character). Need to paint him anyway.
 
I'm up! New here and have just started with lizardmen. Painted 2.5k worth of Skaven before this, and have 24 saurus done so far.

I'll be participating with a slightly modified Avatars of War Scar vet/Oldblood :)
 
Ok.....

Since I failed miserably with SebM's slow painters challange I had decided I will further my embarassment to an epic level. I want in on this, Please?

Do we get to choose which character we wish to paint?
I just bought the Kroq-Gar minature. If you haven't purchased this gem you will never know the true meaning of pinning insanity. All metal, many many parts.

So, April 22nd? One month to complete?

you bet Kaax Taat - anything you want. Doesn't have to even be a character, a Unit Champ will do.

@dictator - no you don't have to nominate what you're working on; many people are though.

is it ok with a unit champion for DE corsairs. or musican or standard if you´d rather want that.
maybe, and just MAYBE, I´ll buy a sorceress before the 22nd. but probaby not...
 
You can count me in. The trouble is going to be deciding what to paint since I have so much unopened/unpainted to choose from. We're starting April 22 and ending May 22? I'm assuming we're going for quality here not speed, right?
 
@1968 - absolutely OK. any race is acceptable.

I'll get in on this. Been too busy to paint much lately but this will motivate me. I'll paint my Lord Kroak model for this I think
 
ordered 2 Tyranid Tyrgon/Mawloc yesterday, I'll see if they arrive in time for the challenge.

then i think my entry will be a space marine commander or whatever they are called....
 
I'm in as well.
Thought I vote it doesn't need to be secretive, then we can post midway pics and ask advice as we go along. Also means Sebm can be involved (I'd argue he can play either way)

But if thats the decided nature of the challenge so be it I'm in either way!

Space Marines = tasty treat :) but yeah they're allowed as well. I was planning on doing my Hive Tyrant, but gaps ahoy/pinning = too much effort.

I hate green stuff and pinning. :)

hi,

is there a limitation on the size of the character. meaning can i enter with a slan or a engine og the gods.
if i could participate with my engine of the gods there seems to be a problem. i have allreasy painted halve of it and i do not have a photo of it beeing udercoated or not painted
 
I'm trying to decide what challenge level I'm ready for. I got a couple HE mages to do, teclis and the IoB Mage. Chalax (sp) or if I'm really bold the IoB griffin lord which I hacked off the lion back legs and need to rebuild an eagles tail.

no size limits - basically if it's a single mini it's eligible. The bigger you go, the more work you may have to do!
It will have to be naked for contest entry though - so you may have to look at doing your Slann.
