Drim's Miniatures

Little peak on my WIP Saurus Lord and the Skink rider for the Troglodon.
Wanted to do a foot version of one of my Saurus Lords but then I noticed I picked the wrong chest piece so I had to make something else out of it. Small error but big enough for not being "right" in my opinion so made the spear into a longer halberd and added the "fire orb" in his gauntlet for extra epicness.

Used the tip of the spear on the Skink's rod/staff - making it into a short spear.
The head I had on a regular skink so swapped that to make this rider stand out.​

Beautifully painted! I really like the paint scheme on your troglodon, very true to nature indeed.

Here are my big baddies. I really enjoy the larger oval bases more as they give more space to mess with. Think I will get one for my middle carno in the near future. After finishing my Troglodon I had some bits left over to play with so added some "horns" to one of my carnos. Two small ones around it's jaw and four more on the saddle. Add more to the "barbaric" look of that unit. Might add something to the other Carno once I get a new base for it. Also repaint the "bone" parts as its currently too white for my liking.

This chubby little beauty arrived today. Love the throne and the expression on the Slann's face haha. Some pieces seems to be hollow while some are solid plastic like they are straight out of a 3D printer so gonna be careful here.. It arrived with one of those "package letters" with a giant sticker saying fragile which I found funny, wouldnt a box be better if its so fragile.. Anyways it arrived and everything is here so this will keep me busy tonight atleast.

I can't believe my luck tonight... I had my eyes on three auctions and was ready for them but I found it odd that no one was bidding on them but that didn't stop me I had my goal to win them! This is up there among my best wins of all times without a doubt..

So 5 Vanguard Hunters goes for 450 SEK in the store here (for 10 of them so 250 SEK for old 5 man box I would presume).. I won them for 160 SEK. I really wanted these ones due to their pelts around their armor. COME AT ME PETA.. But I might end up buying a box of Judicators to convert them into proper bow/huntsmen. Really don't like those one handed crossbows.

3 Vanguard-Raptors & 3 Aetherwings.. They go for 270 SEK.. But I was lucky to win them for 160 SEK. Awesome! I mainly wanted the birds to be honest with you all but more stormcast models are always welcome. Aslo prefer those larger "crossbows" over those one-handed ones since they look odd..

3 Vanguard Palladors... They go for 420 SEK in the store but I won them for 210 SEK. Booyah! These beauties will be fun to build no doubt. Wish the dracothian guard had cooler poses like these ones, think they are far cooler and more powerful mounts for the stormcast.

Love the slann!

And those "palladors" on the griffon monstrosities they are riding could make amazing monstrous Lizardmen cavalry with some conversion work. Or even as some monstrous Bretonnian cavalry considering how much they look like hippogryphs!
 
Thanks :D And I believe those are hippogryphs since they are half eagle half horse. Griffons are half eagle half lion I believe. Love the models.

Made the hunters into a more "Ranger" looking unit. Ranged unit but up and personal kinda thing. While the other five archers I gave them more of a long range / longbow look as they aim upwards and will stick to the back. Also better suited on walls etc.

Hehe I always have my eyes open for new stuff. Some days I spend hours searching for lizard/dino miniatures. Majority ends up being kickstarter stuff which is kinda big nowdays but no fan of them since they showcase plenty of cool stuff but nothing is shipping until some date waaay in the future.


On other news, I won some Chameleons the other day, they came painted so doubt I will add anything without ruining them. Like them as they are, but they were on classic bases so changed that to larger round bases to have more space to decorate. I believe I have all Lizardmen units (including proxies) at this point? Might make a list of everything I got in the coming days.

I really like how your slann turned out, and those eagle/hawks look fantastic too! Such great minis, sad they can't be purchased separately :(

Nice chameleon acquisition too!
