AoS General's Handbook finally announced !!

regarding Tomb Kings (again).

Someone noticed that in the table of contents that they previewed, the Death points section is only two pages, which is the length of what it was last time without any of the TK stuff. They could well have dropped the TK stuff from the points listings altogether, even the stuff that they previewed points for. Remember, those points were a trial example and "subject to change."

Imagine the RAGE!
...and @NIGHTBRINGER s JOY!!
:D

That would be my absolute dream scenario. If they dropped TK altogether the secondary market would be flooded with affordable TK units. It does sound too good to be true. Would GW outright drop TK after they had promised they wouldn't do that to any army?

My fingers are crossed. RAGE QUIT, RAGE QUIT, RAGE QUIT!!!

I like the idea of Bastiladon with a celestial hurricanum :) +1 to hit makes a huge difference! Also dem spells! :)
Well, not bad but I prefer playing lizards. According to the lore we have some of the most powerful wizards with us. They should make it that they can actually cast some spells in the game. No need for other wizards then. Why should a Slann be unable to do something even a puny human can do?

I hope Seraphon wizards will know a number of spells from their own lore equal to the nr of spells they can cast :) Plus that their spells have urility as well, like walk between worlds.

Absolutely. I kinda expect we won't even get our own spell lore though. Just because GW.

I would love it if they changed some of our warscrolls... But to be honest I don't see it happening just because if they did they would also have to do it for all the other updated armies.

So I am keeping my hopes on the following:

1. Aliance abilities and artifacts are made to work well with our army and help us become more competitive while at the same time feeling that they fit well with the fluff

2. Fix summoning! This could be one of the biggest strenghts of our army and at the moment is just garbage.... If they change the summoning distance from 9-7 that alone would be an amayzing change and if they toped ut with 1.25*Reserve Points = Summoning points or something like that it would be amayzing ( one can wish)

3. Magic Lore, our Slanns although they have the potential to be invredible powerfull wizards are not good at the moment in my opinion simple because they dont have ofensive magic and are ment to use an ability that is not competitive ( summoning) and paying his points for a rerrol 1s is just not worth it for me... Giving him more spells would fix this

4. Points, some of our units are really expensive, bringing them down a notch would help us be competitive again

If I get 3 of these I would be overly pleased

I am afraid I have to agree with you... looking at the index I see for seraph we get 4 pages. Normally a battalion takes a page so that only leads me to suspect that we will have the following:

1. Alliance Ability
2. Artifact
3. Fangs of Sotek Battalion
4. Dracothion's Tail Battalion

ps: there are hints in the Seraphon Battletome about what these battalions include! look at pages 23 and 24

Well it seems like, when looking at the preview of the dispossesssed, that they plan on cramping as much as they can on 2 pages. I saw for instance one page with the new allegiance abilities and the command traits. So it would be possible to have another page with the items and the spells :)

At least I hope so!

Well, that seems like a very encouraging discovery!! now I am really hoping to se some spells for the seraphon! so pumped for this release!

PS: where is this preview of the dispossessed.

Best regards,

Here you go: https://www.warhammer-community.com...rst-look-inside-the-coversgw-homepage-post-3/

I saw what I believe to be both a large number of traits, as well as command traits to the right. So there is hope :)

Looks very promising, but the command traits are on the left. On the right you will see grudges, those have been in previous Dwarf books and they basically gives your army a random buff against certain targets, so i hope they will continue with that.

Ah, well I hope that to the right you will see the items and spells nevertheless. Perhaps we get that for the Seraphon?

What is the use of wary fighters? Seems a bit sub-par.

Sorry, also had to chip in here. Wary fighters is literally the best. It means that technically, in one go, your skinks can move 28", that's 8" move, 12" charge and another 8" retreat. That's insane.

EDIT: Ah, now I know what you mean ;p Well that does sound like an interesting technique! Though they would die almost instantly due to stats ^^;

I like how you guys use them, though I have yet to find a use for the Oldblood on foot his command ability.

You are a cruel person. Never thought about playing a villain in a Disney movie?

"Once GW kills the Tombkings, they will be mine! Mine i tell you!"

Some interesting news about Matched Play in the GHB2017!

https://www.warhammer-community.com...erals-handbook-2017-july31gw-homepage-post-3/

Rules of One, Battleplans, points discounts for units at max size, ... and the promise we will hear something regarding the Order grand alliance this Friday! :watching:

O, I like that max sized thing. Might make hordes functional. THough I would like to also get something for "small" horde units to be more than just fodder, at least or armies like ours where 2 of our 4 battleline troops are horde units (skinks and warriors).
