The good news is:
Some geography nerds count Costa Rica, Panama and other mesoamerican countries to "North America" so that would add some more.
Denmark is a stretch though unless you count Greenland (which is Danish territory) as belonging to the north american continent.

As somebody schooled in geology I agree, it is just...weird to call Denmark North American because of Greenland.
It is a bit like calling Britain ""South American" because of the Falklands.
