Not the original colors ( I lack yellow as I had to notice and my self-made pink spread through a fine crack in the jar...) but I tried the black sings on the side and the face... Think I did too much on the crest... But it works on the green with the face and the body.
    Take a look.

Looks pretty nice, although it´s missing some shades to bring out the detail!

Which wash would you recommend? I tend to try a brown one... Agrax or Sephia... And maybe a green glaze after the highlights?

Biel tan green using Agrax is ok Sepia better but they will make the green look dirty compared to a green wash.

I´d go for a mix of a green wash and agrax to add some deeper shadows, and provably to all the model except the crest. I think that would look cool

While I'm waiting for some skinks to dry I felt brave enough to try something bit more complicated than a simple black line along the scales on my slann...

Wasn't sure if it would work, but I guess it looks quite OK...
Skinks will be shown off after Saturday... Will have to finish some projects for college before. :(

Edit: Not done with the purple yet

Wow! I really like the design on the back of your slann! This is going to look amazing when you get it finished.

I first thought I would leave the rest of him in that bright color and just do some details like lips in purple... And some orange purple patches on the eyes.
But as I look at the model now I don't know if it's not too boring. Will have to try it out! ;)
For sure is that I will try to continue the pattern of the back on the upper legs and upper arms... Still not sure about the warts... Just paint over them or make them a different color? Would be four colors just for the skin of this guy...

Better keep it simple, 3 is enough. If not the model could look divided

You could just highlight them in a lighter version of the bit of the pattern under it for the warts.

I second N810 I usually keep my warts lighter and/or whiter then the colour of the skin they are on.

I agree!that would be too much! I just make them brighter...
Found a less intrusive way of adding another color! ;)

Will redo the purple outline on the eyes tomorrow... Am thinking about doing something similar to the face on legs and arms. Like purple hands and feet connected to the back pattern by some purple lines. Or maybe just something like a thin purple wristband... We'll see next time I grab a brush... I never really know what happens before it happens
