Garrisoned units get +1 to save and -1 to hit. With LoS and an artefact you can have a -3 to hit 3+ save slann. If cogs and BwV can be used at the same time you will have a 2+ rerolling.

Imagine if Razordons keep their Instinctive defense rule. You can garrison a bunch of Razordons inside, increase their effective range, and then the enemy will have a harder time piling into the Razordons to avoid their trigger.

Rules say they can cast but just not move, so im guessing they can cast BwV and any other spell would just be cast outside the zig? Says range and visibility is taken from the terrain feature.

But when model is on Vortex it counts as one model. So you just garrison Slann and not Slann with Vortex.

Every model in counts as in range of the objective so long as part of the terrain is within range. It is a massive thing. It might get Errata'ed or there might specific rules for our terrain to change it.

You could also just put 10 Saurus Guard and an Eternity Warden inside. They will have some real durability then Specially if we aren't restricted in placing near objectives.

Yeah, I've been lurking. Got a new baby coming, in the midst of buying a house, and got a promotion at work (which comes with supporting another site) all within a short time frame. Life's been a bit hectic... I still have two Battle Reports I need to write up!

BwV needs an errata. It rules don't work in conjunction with garrison rules. BwV + caster that summoned it count as one model as long as they are on the battlefield, but going into a garrison removes the caster model from the battlefield. Current rules give no indication what happens with the BwV model in this case, just that caster + BwV model don't count as a single model anymore. The common sense approach means it does not work.
