Blog Return of the Ancient Painter: Troggoths added

That jade like howdah looks amazing! This paired with the engine of the gods with his red and gold I think would look quite sharp together on the battlefield! (And quite terrifying for the opponent! ) These skinks have a bit more defense with the good old duck and cover! Green back scales may conceal them quite nicely! I really lke the detail work on the Steg! Lots of blues and the bone looks great! The big round bases on both these guys look so good!

Don't feel bad, it take me forever to paint anything!

@Crowsfoot : Wow.... another awesome Steggy :spiderman:. You're on a roll; how do you manage such productivity?

i don't really know, I get in the loft once kids are in bed put some music on and just paint, usually do Monday to Thursday for around 3hrs a night, wife is always doing some work while tv is on but I don't really bother with the tv.

Started 5 Camo skinks, Sunblood, Eternity warden, Astrolith bearer and a Doomfire Warlock last night, all are based and washed. :)

You lucky one. My wife leaves me maximum of 1.5 hours till she starts complaining that I should do something in the household. And she is African, so complaining means shouting! ;)

I get that but, I finish work at 1pm on Fridays so I do all the housework before she gets in at 5pm so she can't complain but she does, they all do!

Lol, yeah, it's hard to ignore everyone in your household for a couple of hours! Makes me feel bad. That's why I don't get more done than I do! I haven't been all that productive of late either because the quads have been going to sleep by 7 pm, which has given us time to actually watch some tv! We haven't been able to do that in forever, so we have a lot of catching up to do on our favorite shows! Lol!

Well, I could see it if it was attached to a chain and had a pin in the hinge so that it could be thrown at an enemy and then snapped shut, loping heads off, but it doesn't even appear to be hinged, so... Maybe a defensive thing? Catching a sword chop?
