My current plan is keep browsing the GW, FW and 3rd party sites until I get some inspiration. I based my collegiate/dwarves last night so I have that to be painting while I am pondering it... I don't really want to buy anything until I have made a decision.

I have a 1500 point game tomorrow night for 40k where I can proxy anything I want, so if I pick something and come up with a list by then at least I can give it a try!

I LOVE the OSL on those. HOLY crap!!
What I hate though (not the painter's fault, but GW's): Why the hell can't they produce transparent poles without goddamn bubbles in them??!! That makes me furious. I replaced the poles of my Terradons with steel for that reason.

I've come up with an Imperial Guard list for tomorrow night, and am coming up with my own back story and fluff... DKOK are the inspiration for them, so a lot of it will "count as" DKOK. Lots of conversions and bits.

Oddly; vehicle based.

My initial list has 3 chimera transports, a leman russ, and 3 pieces of artillery. It's not a way I normally play, but figure I'll give it a shot.

I shall report back on how it goes. Need to cost up the price to build...

Yeah, I definitely want to paint a C'tan for display though. So watch this space at some point in the future... Probably a long way off given how many other projects I have on the go currently:

• Finish painting Death Watch unit
• Paint Collegiate/Dwarves to tabletop standard
• Paint and Magnetise 2x Hurricanums to above tabletop standard
• Paint a whole bunch of whatever 40k stuff I go with
• Harlequin Project
• At some point maybe paint some more of those unfinished Seraphon... (if only to basic tabletop standard)

Mages home gets blown up, they send their strongest dude off to try and find some help, he's a fire mage. Runs into some Fyreslayers who agree to help him out for mad gold. On his travels he comes across the theory of fire elementals, and decides to summon one up to take revenge on the unknown foe.
