yeah you're version at 340 is probably fine, though I'm not sure about that potential 7/2+/2+/-1/3. That seems high, at least at first glance.
Also, the lack of a damage-table is iffy. Even if I can't say I like the bracket mechanic myself either, but a 300+ combat unit without brackets seems like it could upset the balance.

He's probably not going to be super oppressive on his own. It helps that it's pretty much a pure beatstick with very few special rules. Which vastly limits the potential for problems.

That whip ability seems like it might be annoying. Especially when he is mounted on his dragon, have fun with your Oldblood on carno, or vampire lord on zombie dragon suddenly getting feared/terrorized.

looks nasty but isn't since you need to survive a combat round before it even kicks in and even with it up he is meh as far as damage goes, i wanted to give him enough oomph to kill screens and not get bogged down by nothing units but not much else.
he starts lower but can sustain it longer he is essentially a not terrible version of sigvald

simple enought o be easy to play and make a awesome unit shine.

most heroes are immune to psychology so it won't matter

I'm honestly not certain if that is a good thing for the game. Sure it's manageable for opponents, but AoS has enough powercreep and high-damage output as it is.

The only two we have that are immune to psychology are Gor-rok and Kroak (who's just unaffected by morale completly). Everything else depends on being mounted on a scary mount and having terror themselves, which this ability activly negates. And from what I can quickly see this seems to generally be the case for most heroes. So it does seem to matter.

Either that, or the "immune to psychology" tag is hidden on a lot of heroes for some reason.

You get it on Armor or if you're lizard-men have a ridiculously high leadership so it doesn't matter. Having a -20 to leadership doesn't hurt you if your leadership is 100 or more

I for one adore him as just a beatstick that makes running that army erta offered up (Ghosts) seem reasonable. It makes it out to be a decent option for coalesed that could rival some builds that the starborne has. Plus it's just nice to have another army that doesn't need to rely on magic but can have the option to basically make him into a voltron esq character

Also cold blooded helps with the terror in twwh2 or if ya have items that can negate psychology
That and also you can get abilities leveling up your LLs that make you immune to psychology

    1. I am basing this off of the twwh2 game not that terribly written compendium they made for 7th Ed, in the game he uses a giant golden hunk of metal that is labeled standard of the old ones according to the devs
    2. Standard of the old ones sounds better and fits more than sacred blade imho
    3. I forgot about it because it's not what people think of now a days when nakai Is talked about

Yeah, One of the cool things in the compendium was his weapon was sentient and directs Nakai's swings to casually block incoming attacks that Nakai wasnt aware of, maybe a ward save maybe?

It functioned as a IWND and every wound he got he had a ward save and a regeneration save
