Re: Spawning of Bob: History's Least Successful Skaven Invas
Apologies again. The engraver has been severely disciplined for allowing real life to intervene in the glittering awards ceremony.
The judges have been sent to their rooms because of their failure to reach consensus on the other awards. They have therefore announced a tie (after countback) in the category of "Most Meritorious Entry which Failed to Address the Competition Requirements." In no special order.....(drumroll.....)
With his entry:
Old Mossy said:
HAHA, OUR ENEMIES WILL DESTROY EACHOTHER!
Old Mossy receives the "A Kitchen Too Far" Award
And with:
T`hinker`er said:
O.k., you asked for it!
T'hinker'er receives the "Collateral Damage" Award
Conratulations to you both.
However tonight belongs to the grand prize winners.
The First Runner Up in the "Skaven fail to invade Pamplona during the running of the bulls" competition, with his touching depiction of the bull who dreamed he could fly:

Of course, there can only be one overall winner, and I wish to thank that person for providing some of the most disturbing images yet seen in the Warhammer World. His (or her) entry distills the lithe dynamism of a falling cow with the disturbing lack of scale or perspective which we have come to expect from Games Workshop. Students of high art should examine the use of a low point of view, a Spanish jockstrap and a deft excuse to embellish what might otherwise have been a mundane image.

I really would like to go in with the eye dropper and clean the insertions up, but I don't have anything good like Photoshop. Just MS Paint and a shortage on free time.
As befits his status as Champion of all Lustria, Newscales receives the "Conquistador del la Rata"
Thanks to all of the other entrants. You may not have received awards, but the judges were moved to tears by many of your entries. I hope that you will not be discouraged by your apparent lack of (relative) talent and that you will participate in future events. You might get lucky.
