Thank you :D I'm really proud of the work I've put into this model, there are small things id do differently next time or that I may still do, but overall she is exactly how I want her. I am also pleased to announce that over 24 hrs have passed and she is still standing proud!

I think kitbashing may honestly be my favorite part of the hobby, all of my models have been modified in some fashion EXCEPT my Stegadon (which remains built but untouched). I like using official kits and creating something out of thin air/my imagination, I'm especially thankful for Anvil of Apotheosis even if some won't allow custom characters.

Age of Sigmar is such a great structured Sandbox and we the community have really benefited from it I think. Although it frustrates me at the lack of monsters they give us, Im happy we are able to come up ajd implement our own designs as "count as" models.

Anyway, very pleased you and others enjoy my work and I love sharing it and chatting with y'all.

Im currently working on a custom Burning Head as I decide how to paint this Star Priest, any thoughts on how to improve it are welcome! I dont have much Phoenix flame pieces left...sadly.

Ended here tonight on my 1st piece of 3 for my Star Seer :)

I'm starting with the horned ones and skink drivers :) The horned ones Are going a burgandy with green look, kind of forest like colors to blend in.

The skink drivers going with a Tzunki/Itzl feel with a seafoam (sotek green) for thenmore soft tissue/scales and oranges for the back harder scales. Im not 100% on the colors for Itzl, but orange for some reason feels beasty to me (i know Amber represents beasts), and Tzunki is said to be represented by seafoam and the presents if gills...!

Just base colors for now :)

    Overall im pretty excited :)

I also found out that it makes a great artillary chariot of sorts....haha

    Finished building my Star Seer:)

I need to find a gem to fill the hole in the crown

I wanted to bring back (in my own way) the old school Slann models that were carried by humans, saurus guard, Kroxigor etc.... but obviously for a Star Seer!

I think this gives a pretty fearsome look

I think it's really good Suds, I just can't get past the physics of the height versus the base stability... Maybe 4 horned ones?

Thank you! The staff is the oldblood spear with the oldblood crest ornament

Ill take a picture when im able of the back

    Thank you!

Sadly physics will have to be a little warped and magic used, for it to properly sit on a 50mm base 4 horned ones simply would not fit :(

Got most of the base colors down, now I've begun working on some dry brushing. The crystal I'm going for a life magic feel/glow, first time going for this so any tips is appreciated!

No shades yet but once applied I think this piece will really begin to pop

Small Update on my kitbashed Star Seer

I was able to prime the palanquin today with my new primer of Chaos Black. If there is one thing that is consistent in all my Seraphon models its one thing: Obsidian Weapons. I simply love obsidian, it is gorgeous and insanely sharp (though fragile), and all my Seraphon even with all the crazy color schemes have obsidian weapons.

Taking that love one step further, I wanted to create a dark blue obsidian backboard for my Star Priest. Blue obsidian Im using to represent water and its purification powers, purification being a main theme of this project.

    C&C welcome :)

Recipe thus far, though in total there may be 8 steps when I'm done:

    Blue Obsidian -

    Primer: Chaos Black

Step 1: Dry Brush Kantor Blue, Shade Drakenhof Nightshade

Step 2: Dry Brush Thousand Sounds Blue, Shade Drakenhof Nightshade

Step 3: Dry Brush Sotek Green, Shade with Coelia Greenshade

Step 4: Dry Brush Temple Guard Blue , Dry Brush Xereus Purple, Shade Aethermatic Blue

Step 5: Dry Brush Baharroth Blue, Shade Drakenhof Nightshade + Coelia Greenshade

    Step 6

This looks great. Will de details and vines on the totem be lighted by the obsidian stone?

    Grrr, Imrahil

Thank you! Been working hard on it, being very purposeful with my colors.

Not 100% what you mean lighted by the obsidian, but i still need to put green and such on the vines... i may keep some of the blue however to give a glow feel? I'm not sure...hmmm

    Thoughts?

Not warhammer related but seeing as Lizardmen ride Dinosaurs I figured its sorta relevant

I have gone ahead and ordered this amazing Allosaurus sculpt by AK Rex that will be shipped out later this year after the campaign ends in 29 days.

Allosaurus is my favorite carnivore dinosaur and I would love to make a cav unit based on them one day

Im excited to paint this, though no idea how i will

Maybe try a Shunosaurus as a base model, and add on more spikes!

T-rex is so overrated, the true Carnosauria(including Allo) are waaay better!

    Not Seraphon Related

I pulled the trigger on the Lumineth Realm Lords last week! After finally deciding I wanted the box before it was no more, I am so happy I did. I started the hobby little over a year ago and have been painting Seraphon since day 1...it'll be fun to have a small side distraction.

This is my current WIP of my first Vanari Auralan Warden influenced by the warriors of Iliatha! Although a test scheme I'm 99.9% sure it is what I'll be going for Hoping to finish her tonight! Thus far she is only base colors, no shades or highlights yet

    C&C welcome
