know Im kinda just spit balling these out
Haha, definitely for myself and the lady!If you have been spit balling this out I wouldn't serve it to someone else but yourself![]()
Thank you! It looks better painted for sure lol really happy with itBack to the models: I like how you did the conversion. It looks clean and believeable. I am not sure about the change of colorpattern in one unit. But maybe it will work out great.
Keep up the good work
Small Update on my kitbashed Star Seer
I was able to prime the palanquin today with my new primer of Chaos Black. If there is one thing that is consistent in all my Seraphon models its one thing: Obsidian Weapons. I simply love obsidian, it is gorgeous and insanely sharp (though fragile), and all my Seraphon even with all the crazy color schemes have obsidian weapons.
Taking that love one step further, I wanted to create a dark blue obsidian backboard for my Star Priest. Blue obsidian Im using to represent water and its purification powers, purification being a main theme of this project.
C&C welcome
Recipe thus far, though in total there may be 8 steps when I'm done:
Blue Obsidian -
Primer: Chaos Black
Step 1: Dry Brush Kantor Blue, Shade Drakenhof Nightshade
Step 2: Dry Brush Thousand Sounds Blue, Shade Drakenhof Nightshade
Step 3: Dry Brush Sotek Green, Shade with Coelia Greenshade
Step 4: Dry Brush Temple Guard Blue , Dry Brush Xereus Purple, Shade Aethermatic Blue
Step 5: Dry Brush Baharroth Blue, Shade Drakenhof Nightshade + Coelia Greenshade
Step 6

The magic of shades, just that list of colors in your quote and its order is what achieved itNice, what did you use to make the blue a bit neon? Or is that just the camera flash?
Sporting a molten core that super heats his armor and a volcano on his back, this Mountain Cow means blistering business!

I was able to finally find, in original box, the Citadel Coatl model for Lizardmen
Im excited to paint it... yet so conflicted on actually taking it out of the box lol
Any thoughts on what I could use it as? Its quite smaller than I thought it'd be (for a monster) so I don't think a terradon chief will work...
Maybe Anvil of Apotheosis monster?

It's about 2 inches long, inch high? Posted with the stegadon skink chief for scaleDtill in the box so not 100% sureView attachment 79881
Ha, yeah...ugh lol more than likely I'm gonna open it and paint it, I'll probably put a few of those jungle swarms under it. Likely make it an AoA creature and use it for tourneys that allow AOA characters, otherwise a very cool and rare display piece!Good luck deciding on taking it out the box or not. I feel your pain![]()
Yeah, although I'm still very excited to have the official model... it does make me sad at how small it is. Considering how small the models used to be though... it makes sense. Sucks, but makes sense. He definitely is a tad small

Just makes me wanna make a kitbash using Morathi...wait what?![]()
Thank you, that is a good picture for sure! May try to take some better onesI much like this picture
Definitely what I wS going for, I also think its cool that the basic unit bases look like they belong to his base... like theyre marching under himThe base elevates the 'massive' size of the model. highlights that he really is a mountain![]()
