    I'm going with pessimism.

    Pessimists are happier than optimists because 90% of the time they are right and 10% of the time they are pleasantly surprised.

    With the tiny reputed changes rumored to be occurring at Marvel behind the scenes, I believe there is now an 80% chance I will be right and a 20% chance I will be pleasantly surprised.

    To be fair, I don't believe it's exclusive to the Left. We had a lot of doublethink under the Bush administration, but I was a Liberal back then.

    Sounds reasonable.

    I wouldn't label myself right wing. I have views that fall on both sides of the spectrum. However, the left has gone so crazy over the last 10 years or so, that I'm forced more towards the right wing, not because I'm right wing, but because I am anti extreme left.
