    I'd be very interested in reading that research.

    I think a lot of that is essentially what I'm saying as well. People in power tend to create policies that just seem to make things shittier for us and better for them lol. Symbolic change is a way to just perpetuate that cycle. To your point, we need meaningful, actionable change for the long term health of the planet. Hopefully someone figures out how to make that happen soon haha

    Here's an article summarizing the research. If you follow the bibliography you should EVENTUALLY be able to find the original research.

    In a way, it's common sense, but this was performed by modern academics who were probably hoping to get the opposite result.

    So I wasn't going to watch this anyway, because I think Disney CGI animals are a little too far in the uncanny valley for me, but this video drives a few extra nails in that coffin. Disney cannot help but destroy their own legacy.

    The wokeness is more subtle but the bad writing and canon destruction remains the same.
