I've been listening to a lot of material on Disney's problems. There are a lot of rumors but the rumors from independent sources seem to be reinforcing each other. If these rumors are true, I doubt it is enough to make
@NIGHTBRINGER satisfied, but the news sounds positive for people who do not like Kathleen Kennedy.
The gist seems to be that Kathleen Kennedy has a very ironclad contract that means she cannot be fired unless she is caught doing something illegal, but they are removing her ability to make creative decisions so she has limited access to the office but is still drawing a paycheck.
It looks like someone has been cooking the books on recent Star Wars projects embezzling money and it
probably goes back to Kathleen Kennedy but she is setting up Lena Hedland (once Harvey Weinstein's assistant and currently KK's assistant) to be the fall girl.
The witch is in place, but she is rapidly losing Flying Monkeys. Many KK loyalists have recently quit. Others are having their tiniest indiscretions scrutinized or being reassigned to grunt work to make them quit or turn stool pigeon on KK.
But even if Kathleen Kennedy not only gets fired in disgrace, but goes to jail, that won't save Star Wars or Indiana Jones. Or Willow, but few people care. I care a little, I liked Willow but it wasn't a pillar of my childhood or adolescence, I do like the goofy wizard.
