    Cold blooded :)

Anyway this is the type of marketing that makes piracy flourish ;)

Mounted old blood now no longer available, Krox are out of stock so they will be next, this is stacking up too quickly to be anything other than a base swap.

I bet they rerelease all models at the same time so people who are now panicking will buy masses... Bad behavior gw!

Edit: And not even telling anyone what's really going on... Also not what we in Germany call "the fine English way"...

Next update will still be bout 40k's tau...

Maybe since lizardmen are not as wanted as other units, they really had low stock on these and are not making them again; which does not implicate in releasing them again with new models right away...who knows if we'll get ANY new stuff months from now

Now I'm sitting here chewing scrolls, round bases or new models? Bases or models?
Oh GW, your mystery is a mystery to us all.
I really do sense new bases, but then they may get a strong roles next book, maybe with new models.

Maybe lizards will get new units in the sense that they're going to slightly change the molds for the kits to allow round bases

They already did something like this with the tyranid warriors some years ago: The kit was basically the same of the old one with the exception of more defined details, a few reworked bits and an added sprue

They would need to do the rework only for the plastic skink priest and the plastic scar veteran after all
(enough for a one week release or to accompany the campaign books, like the one hinted for next week)
For the rest they could more easily just produce slotted 32mm bases instead of doing reworks

For completely new models I think it's too soon

What in my opinion could have been done by selling the old boxes till you run out of them and after that sell the stuff that is produced later with new round bases... Especially considering that bases do count nothing in aos and though can be any shape you want... Even little hearts or playboy bunnies would be possible...

Hmmm... Seems like the reason is clear now... Had a chance to talk to someone who knows more? When will they be available again?

Skink Chief with sword and shield is now no longer available in the UK.

I really do hope for a new model of sorts, what more can GW push towards Stormcast and Khorne?
Just re-basing everything during AoS is going to make long-Fantasy fans sigh in the distance, well Khorne fans did get pleased.

Might go and nudge questions tomorrow, I will get the usual no idea. The manager reckons re-basing.

Most probably seraphon is going to be on the new scenario/battle tome thing...just as skaven pestilence a couple of months ago. Which would mean: just rebasing

I spoke to one of the guys in the forgeworld store for about 30 mins, he said if all the units say sold out so soon it is a new box and base usually.

I asked if he knew anything of new releases and the shop staff don't know until the Friday before a release, the factory work 6 months in advance and the workers are under contract to be silent, he did say forgeworld are working on Sigmar models.

I then did a terrain workshop with one of the designers and he told us he starts a new job Monday heading up new paints for future releases, he didn't say which but when I quizzed him he did say look at the art work in the sigmar book so I bought it and the Lizardmen look completely different to what we have now......

    The plot thickens

I really don't see that big of a difference in the artwork...
But nice, good to know things are moving! And forgeworld, finally an update on sigmar! Great info man thanks

Had a similar scenario at the Expo, surprise visit was an AoS stand, I had to question the people working. I just did a casual talk with the guy, I mentioned about waiting for Lizardmen (I said to him I play Lizardmen) he holds his breath a bit and says about things being under tight secret.
Not sure if something is up or just a rebasing secret that is already known.

here, have a better pic of the derp ones riders
    lizardmen age of sigmar.jpg

and an even better one since I'm at it:
    lizardmen aos.png

I don't think they look all that different honestly
maybe he was just referring to the fyreslayer or malerion after all, which are actually new, in the art and probably waiting to be released
