The silly doubt is: it's not that it will be like an Election Day, when you are supposed to vote for yourself?

There is a practical benefit from not voting for oneself as well. We haven't had a comp yet that I didn't want at least one extra vote to allocate to a worthy entrant. Wasting one on myself makes vote allocation even crueller.
 
I am trying to be a writer too but my spelling and grammar puts me off writing as I'm a perfectionist and can't even carry my own thoughts onto paper so i'm going to do more online to practice :D

I've said this multiple times. The Under-Empire has very nice forumites. L-O and U-E, while many other forums are nice to visit, no WHF army forum is as pleasant to deal with as the Lizardmen or Skaven.

Nope, you are actually #14. Unless I demote @Tlac'Natai the Observer from #6 to #15 for submitting multiple revisions including one last one I haven't gotten yet.

Related note. We have 15 entries so far. We didn't just break our best record. We shattered it. We still have about 24 hours to go so we could go bigger still.

This contest will allow each forumite to vote for up to five entrants (unless we go up to 18 entries). Alert the Skinks scribes: for all future writing contests the number of votes per person will be one for every three entries rounded down.
 
Woah nice 15 entrants look forward to reading 14 of them and one I know to be mine :P
 
Even with 5 votes this is going to be rough trying to vote, if the last couple of comps are any indication! However I am excited to read the entries! This theme is a great concept and I can't wait to see how it's handled!
 
...and obviously, now that the time is closed, it came to my mind a short passage that would have been perfect in my story! So typical. .. :rolleyes:
