AoS General's Handbook finally announced !!

WOW! That is insane. That must be a huge percentage of all the 40k factions.

How many factions are there overall?

There are 28 factions in total, but only 21 different armies (the six remaining factions just re-use models from other armies, or can't be used without being allies). So almost halv of all the armies are wearing power armor.

I just hope we might finally get some new spells for the Seraphon as well though. But so far it looked like that might not happen :C

Warpstar on 1st turn is good to make up for deployment. If you are unable to draw out a certain hard counter for a unit of yours before putting down said unit you can then teleport it to the other side of the board and 1 turn of movement forward so the enemy now has a bad match up.

@NIGHTBRINGER fair is fair lol. Are the one hoping for Tomb kings on ebay? A guy in my local area just put up a whole lot on ebay, most of it is painted lretty nice too. I think we are getting the whole shebang, relics spells command traits and our already mentioned alliance trait. Since @Bainbow is mia, I'll try to keep up the eternal optimism haha!

That is me. Thank you for the heads up. I'm always following several Tomb Kings listings. We shall see what happens after the GHB 2 drops.

What are the advantages of the Warlord edition? I'm not sure where you can use it for.
FANCY TOKENS...

...Which I admittedly wish were made out of plastic or something with like engravings and shit, being entirely cardboard is a bit of a letdown but whatever.

I was hoping for hardcover at least with the warlords edition. I may still get it though, the cards are kinda nice.

Lol not from what I've heard, its just a 9" ruler from what I've seen haha.

Do you have a time code to hear what they say about Seraphon?
Don't want to watch the whole video...

1:15:00 basically:

No magic lore

Slann can dispell anywhere in the board and get +6"range when rolling doubles to cast

We get 9 command traits instead of 6

The teleport ability is:

Once per turn Roll a dice :

On 1 cant move or charge
On 2-5 move a unit anywhere in the board 9" from enemy Counts as movement
On 6 move a unit anywhere in the board 9" from enemy and can move normally

Ok so I have to use my own. Bummer.
(For those interested: every wizard can pick a spell from the Battlemage warscroll)

Rest sounds pretty OK except that the teleport can actually not only fail but deactivate the unit it was used on.

What do you mean? You mean our Slann can get 3 spells from the Battlemage Warscroll? Well it's better then nothing I suppose :)
